“Quinlynn!...Hey!”
Turning around she saw a girl jogging towards her. The girl looked cheerful and sunny with a grin on her face. Quinlynn faced her with a puzzled look, ‘ Do I know you?’
The girl looked at Quinlynn’s puzzled face and said with a bright smile, “Hey Quinlynn, my name is Maya, your classmate!”
“What can I do for you, Miss Maya?” Quinlynn politely asked.
“Haha…I just wanted to talk to you after all I live right across from your room. So I think we must be fated with each other since you’re also in my class!” Maya continued as she caught Quinlynn’s hands, “So let’s become friends!”
Quinlynn was dumbfounded by her action. She quickly recovered and rejected, “No, Thank You.” ‘After all, I don’t plan to make any friends with anyone.’
“Please! I really want to become your friend!...can’t I?” Maya almost cried hearing her refusal
