I have been sitting on her bed for about two hours now, hoping and praying to the moon goddess that she is going to be fine.

I don't know what I will fucking do with myself if anything happens to her.

I should have stayed with her.

I should have protected her.

I shouldn't have let her get hurt.

I observe her sickly pale skin, noticing that her wound hasn't healed yet.

I know there is more to her than she shows. There is more to her weakness.

A regular wolf would have been almost healed by now, but Alena heals at the pace of a normal human...and she isn't as strong as the average werewolf.
