Black.

All I see is black.

I look to my left, and then to my right. It is still the same...black.

I wish it is different.

I wish we all don't have to gather here to mourn the death of our family.

I can only wish, I can't do anything about it.

We decided that we would be burying the dead the next day after the incident.

Yesterday, I summoned the surviving pack members and offered my condolences. It was then that we agreed that it is best to bury them the next day.

So here we all are, gathered in the cemetery, sending our families to the moon goddess.

It is so fucking painful watching the broken heart of my subjects.

I wish I could do something to help, but this situation is past my hands.

I join the other wolves when they howl while facing the moon.

The usual rites are performed and the burial is over.

Once everything is over, I leave my position at the front to look for Lucinda, Caleb, and Ralph.
