I grip the dagger like my life depends on it.

Technically, it does.

We have a plan, an unorganized plan...but a plan anyway.

I just hope that it will work.

If it doesn't, then I am afraid a lot of us would be joining the moon goddess on the moon, or wherever the hell she is.

I signal to the young girl, Matilda. She nods her head and signals to the others.

Taking the cue, they start throwing things at the rogue's, ranging from shoes to parts of the fallen building...anything they could find is what they threw.

Startled, the rogue's look towards the source and growl. They leave their post and furiously make their way towards the others.

My heart is beating erratically and my palms are sweaty and shaky.

I know I have to be brave and keep myself calm for the plan to work, so I take a deep calming breath and pray that I don't get killed.

I stay hidden behind a table of food that was meant for the ball.
