I waited for hours but he was not here yet. Emma had fallen asleep, I can't blame her, she has been trying to get me to eat but I stubbornly refused. She had asked me what the problem was and I told her I needed Theo. I noticed her mind linking Carter, I guess after which she told me that Carter said Theo was busy with something really important. Emma was exhausted and had fallen asleep on the couch but as for me, my eyes refused to shut. I kept staring at the ceiling expecting Theo to walk through that door. I would have gone to him myself but I'm sure that would intensify his anger towards me and might as well put Emma in trouble. The best thing to do was to lie down and wait. I sighed.
