Chapter One Hundred and Nine

After what we had last night, I had slept off but was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. It was on the bed stand, but Alex was using my hand as a pillow, and I did not want to wake her up. I looked at the clock, and it was midnight.

But then my phone started to ring again. She must have been disturbed by the noise because she turned and moved away from my hand.

I tiptoed off the bed and grabbed my phone, then headed to the bathroom after looking around.

"This better be important, Jim?" I said immediately that I had picked it.

"Good evening, Alpha. I am calling because you said to call you and to never act on my command."

"And?"

"The dealer messaged me. He says that he has something to do next week and decided to get the job done tomorrow, so I should get him money ready by tomorrow."
