I stopped abruptly at Lily’s question and turned to face her. We were in the middle of the room, surely she doesn’t intend to start a fight here. Her stare was full of glare, as if I poured sand into her food. Did I know what? I growled impatiently. I was still reeling from our earlier encounter with Kamaria and isn’t really in the mood for another fight.

That she will be here. She spat the words at me, her grey eyes full of animosity.

I was momentarily distracted by the hatred in her eyes. I know she hates Kamaria, but I had believed it was because I was married to Kamaria instead of her, but it looks to be more.
