CHAPTER 5

RAVEN'S POV

" you want me to go undercover?' I asked. " yes Agent your needed by out American Allies" the director said. " Who's organizing this mission" I asked. " I am" came a mans voice from behind me.

I took a moment to look him over. Early mid- fourties, salt and pepper coloured hair and a lot more rumpled than a president has the right to be. Two body guards flanked beside him one i didn't know but the other. " Seth" i said staring him down." Knight raven" he says will looking at me.

" how many years has it been" i asked. " four" he said still looking at me. " good evening agent sorry for dragging you across the continent this came up on short notice. President William's says.

After we all took a seat the directors voice sounds through the screen once more" now that the presidents here lets get started. Two more screens come to life and a number of different faces pops up on screen.

For months now a number of stedent's have gone missing some reciving threats including Selena Williams". " My daughter the President says grimly.

The director continued " We Belive minator is responsible in some way or another so we partnering with our American allies to work on this operation together". "And that's where you come in Agent night raven" the director said.

I was surprised." Your one of the most qualified for the mission agent given your background working in the shadows your the best candidate for this mission we don't need a vanguard agent, we need the old you we need the night raven" comes presidents William's voice.

"

We need you to infiltrate and locate those children agent as well as to find those responsible as both the agency and their parents are worried" president william said.

" president Williams might i have a word with night raven alone" the President nods before walking outside with his security detail. " Agent i know this is not ideal but this is a opportunity you can't past up".

" why?" I asked " why out of the hundreds of agents available that you choose me. " Because the one responsible for your families death will be there" with those words i sat up straight in my seat. " what do you mean the one responsible ?" I asked." Agent you might have thought that v.a.n.g.u.a.r.d had forgotten our promise to bring your families killer to justice but we haven't we have gathered information that the operative known as shade will be there, shade is the key to your families downfall" said the director.

I thought about it this was the opportunity i had been waiting for, the reason that i had left everything and everyone behind to find the one responsible for my families death so i know my answer right away.

" i accept" i said. " excellent you've made the right choice" the director says. " so what's next?" I asked. " you will be leaving with the president and his security detail in the morning they will debrief you further on your mission you've been dismissed agent" the director says as the screen returns to the wall. 

I stood up before walking out the conference room heading towards the sparring arena i needed to blow of some steam.

Meanwhile Moscow Russia

Luke's pov

I looked through the glass of my office at the night club below ignoring the shouts of pain and screams for mercy that filled my office good thing i had installed sound proof glass.

I turned around to see my men working on bergmann whose now bleeding all over after a savage punch from the rhino swelled his eyes shut i raised my hand for them to stop. He backed off with the rest of my men to lean against the walls with there arms crossed.

" tsk tsk tsk" i said as i knelt down to look into his face pistol drawn that i used to tap him on his leg to get his attention. " did you really think you could steel from me and think i wouldn't find out and no night raven didn't tell me i know about your little conversation make sure that next time you hear a fly swat it". I chuckled along with everyone.

" please" he begs as tears fall from his eyes " have mercy im sorry i shouldn't have stolen from you so please spare me" he begged head hung low. " mercy?" i tasted the word on my tounge it sounded forign to me.

" Ќаќ по-руссќи драќон не прогласат миосердиг ќ предателгм" i said coldly. 

* tanslation a dragon doesn't show mercy to traiters* i said standing up and placing my pistol to his temple. " Got any last words" i said but before i could pull the trigger.

* ring* ring*

I took out my phone before glancing down at the caller ID before i sighed. " well finish this later" i said with a nod from me my men grabbed the broken and battered form of Bergmann and dragged him out my office after they where gone i took out my phone after making sure that it was safe and wasn't being tracked I answered.

" widow you have the worst timing" i said as i looked out the glass at the night club bellow. " i know boss but this is important" she says. " and me dealing with some one who stool from me isn't important" i replied sarcastically. " its more important its actually the only thing you've wanted i'v found Samantha's killer" she says.

My voice choked up, my eyes shined a bone chilling red as i clenched my jaws my grip tightening on my phone.

And just for a moment i was there in that villa holding my little sister close as she bleed to death. " Luke i don't want to die" she cried holding unto me.

" shhh don't take like that your going to be fine do you hear me!" I said as tears ran down my face she drew her self closer into my chest as i held her close i knew that these wounds where fatal but if i could make her spend her last moments in the arms of her brother than to die alone at some hospital then i would and i did.

She finally stoped breathing as i broke down into tears holding unto the lifeless body of my little sister. Kidnapped, raped, abused and abandoned to die and i wasn't there i was too late.

As i felt my eyes burning with an agonizing pain i cried tears of blood as i held her that's the day i became who i am that's the day i became the man that everyone fears the one who when they hear my name they shiver in fear that's the day i became the dragon.

" Luke you still there?" She asked bringing me back to the present. " I'm here widow" i said. " good where tracked shade to a university  in America as for why he might be there we don't know?". I nod and she continues " you would have to go as an student, i can get you the fake papers and documents what do you say" she asked.

I messaged my temple of course i wanted to find my sisters killer but widow doesn't work from the kindness of her heart she'll want something in return. " what's the price widow i asked. " i was getting to that" she say's.

" my little sister is attending there im worried about her i can't protect her like you can so I'm asking for you too keep an eye on her for me". I sighed while still looking out the glass at my night club " so you want me to babysit?" I asked.

" in short term yes" she says. " ok fine" i said " you've got your self a deal" i said. " that's great news thank you, your a life saver" she says and i just grunt in agreement and before i could hang up.

" wait there's something you should now" she says. " what is it widow?" I asked. " undercover agents are going to be there including the night raven just thought you should know"she say's. I hung up deep in thought the momory of last night still fresh in my mind the feeling of her skin as she shivered under my touch the taste of her lips as i claimed them as my own. 

I took out a cigarette before lighting and taking a long drag. As smoke drifted slowly from my lips i let out a chuckle as a devilish smirk spreads across my face " raven being there is going to bound to cause trouble".
