CHAPTER 6

Raven's pov

I walked down the bustling halls of the v.a.n.g.u.a.r.d.s Paris headquarters all around the facility brims with activity but i didn't  really pay much attention my mind a haze of thoughts. I was finally getting the chance i wanted the chance to end the life of the person who took my family away from me and also about the mission in general.

I was so preoccupied that i didn't notice my friend Catherine calling me. " ISSABELLA!" I saw her walking towards me with her brother hunter in tow. She hugs me quickly " hi i was so worried about you i heard about what happened last night she said. " you did how" i said confused "just a rumour but when we heard that your being pulled of the mission we know it was true".

" what else did you hear" i asked. " well" she says glancing at hunter." We heard you went toe to toe with the Dragon and survived" he said. "Is that what everyone's saying?" I asked he shrugged " yeah pretty much" as soon as he did two agents walked around the corner giving me starstruck looks as they passed. I  sighed " that couldn't be further from the truth" i said messaging my tenples." What do you mean" they asked.

I sighed " he got the better of me but believe me when i tell you I'm looking forward towards a rematch" i said looking at them with blood red eyes. I didn't even noticed that i did until two new recruits saw them and ran away in the other direction. To be honest its something that i hadn't done in years, the president say's he needs the old me and that's what he's going to get.

I took a deep breath and my eyes changed back from red to my natural purple. I could see that both hunter and Catherine where afraid both of them had backed away slightly in fear and to be honest they had a wright to be they know who i was before i joined the agency and they know what im capable of also that these red eyes are the last thing many people saw.

I took a deep breath " its ok I'm back under control" i said they looked at each other nervously uncertain. " that must be a neat trick at parties" hunter say's nervously. my eyes flashed red in warning and he held up his hands defensively " ok ok i was kidding but your intimidating as hell like this to be honest its kind of hot" he said making me chuckle when Catherine slapped him upside the head.

" ow what was that for its the truth she's sexy when she's angry" he said holding up his hand defensively. " idiota"She scolded him in Spanish before fucosing on me. " regardless of the outcome of your encounter with him your a legend already" she said.

" what why? I asked. " no one faces the dragon and lives to tell the tale hell even v.a.n.g.u.a.r.d.s cautious about hunting him down" hunter said." That's true" i said.

Issabella's pov

Some might have said that i was in the Dragons shadow the raven beneath his wings. What could an upstart like me hoped to accomplish against the leader of the most powerful Mafia in the world do. Against the most feared criminal who in two years took over all most the entirety of Europe and Asia what parts he didn't wasn't' deemed important enough to wareent his attention. A man whose names is spoken in fear by his enemies and by reverence to other's.

What could i have done that could earn me my place atop the criminal food chain as well i came up with the perfect solution. The moon dimond

the most rarest and expensive of it's kind i know that it was going to be at An auction in Syria well i was planning to attend.

Syria years Ago

I sat down around the bar watching the ballroom as it was packed with people all of them here for the upcoming auction well me also.

Politicians, royalty, celebrities as well as criminals all mingled around waiting for the auction to begin. Some i know others i didn't i had already had a reputation.The seductress was what they called me. I used my aunt's teachings well flirting, charming and seducing my targets, i had used these teaching to build up quiet a reputation and wealth who know that people would pay so much for  my attention. When i walked into a room i commanded the attention of everyone and i enjoyed it.

But there was one who's presence commanded the room apart from mine  and he was locked in a conversation with a man when he caught me staring his eyes locked with mine. He walked over towards me and bowed. " "seductress" he said under a thick European accent and kissed the back of my gloved hand it's a good thing where all wearing mask's so he couldn't see my blush.

It was strange i was usually the one who had this effect on others but there was something about him that throws me off after i regained control over my self. " a pleasure Mr?" I asked inquiring about his name. " Adrian" he said.

I gave a polite smile " well Mr Adrian its a pleasure to meet someone as charming as you" i said laying on the charm. He gave a million dollar smile." No its a pleasure to meet a beauty such as your self" he said." May i?" He gestured to the seat beside me i gave a nod saying he could sit he gave a smile he said before sitting beside me.

We looked out into the mass of people. " quiet a turnout no ?" he asked still looking out into the crowd. " yes its quiet a turnout" i said and he nods looking out into the crowd once more. " Mr Adrian might i ask you a question?". " hmm" he said turning to face me. " are you here alone for the auction" i asked.

He gave a mischievous smile " oh asking if have a date are we i must say your quite bold but i like a woman who goes after what she want's" he says. I laughed waving of his question " its an honest question" i said. He chuckles " I'm here for the auction but would you like to accompany me?" He asked.

I thought about it feigning disintrest " hmm interesting offer but you'll have to make it worth my while" i said. I saw something flash through his eyes and he gave a devilish smile before leaning in to whisper in my ears. " oh my sweet rose i can more than make it worth your while" he said before seductivly bitting my earlobe causing me to shiver.

" so what do you say Mia Bella would  you accompany me" he said looking at me. I pretended to think about it before taking his outstretched hand. He gave a smile just as the auction began. After we took a seat a woman in a red scarlet dress walked unto the stage.

" good evening ladies and gentle man and welcome to our annual auction" she says to be honest i zoned out for most of the auction old artifacts and weaponry where auctioned off but at the mention of the diamond i became alert.

" now ladies and gentle men now for the main event The rare moon diamond rarest of its kind worn by Elizabeth Black herself. whisper's went through the room. The queen of the underworld herself now i had to steal it. " yes yes i know what must of you must be thinking but for security purposes the diamond cannot be brought out". She say's.

" now lets start the bidding a 100 million euros" she say's a man infront of us raised his hand. " a hundred million euros going once going twice. " 150" Adriam says from beside me causing everyone to gasp.

" a 150 do i hear two hundred" say the woman. " two hundred say's the man once more. " two hundred million euros does anyone want to go higher than that" she asked. Adrian pressed his hands to his forehead " lets end this debate shall we 400 million euros" he says looking at the man daring him to continue " I'm sure you don't have that many zeros in your bank book senator hmm? now that's this is over i will be back to pick up my diamond".

Everyone stared at him mouth agape including my self. He gave me a wink " it was a pleasure Mia Bella but sadly i must be off i hope to meet you again someday" he says before leaving.

later after the auction was finished

I dropped from the inside of the vent inside the room the  diamond was being held. After disabling the security measure they had installed i approached the diamond.

It was displayed in a glass case underneath a spotlight begging to be stolen . " they saw diamonds are a girls bestfriend so " i shrugged and cut the glass open with my plasma cutter after taking out the diamond i admired it.

" Dammm no wonder why this thing cost so much it was heavy and it shone beautifully underneath the moonlight" no sooner than i had placed it in my satchel bag did a dozen armed men bursts into the room weapons trained on me.

All of them wore black clothing with skie mask's but what made my heart really race was the Dragon tattoo they proudly displayed. " shit" i cursed these where the dragon's men he must have been after the diamond too.

A mountain of a man entered. He was covered in scars and tattoos and towered over everyone, he walked inside stood in front of me it wasn't hard to figure out who it was.

" the rhino i presume" he just grunts as a response before glaring at me." Seductress you've taken something that doesn't belong to you" he said staring me down. " did i" i purred he takes a step towards me and i tensed ready for a fight until a voice stopped him in his tracks .

" Носорог я разберусь с ней по русски" * rhino i will deal with her* some one says entering the room wearing a dragons mask. He walks into the room and stares me down. rhino looked at me before backing down to lean against the wall with his arms crossed. I looked at him confused as to who he was.

" and who might you be" i said pulling the satchel closer to my self he shook his head. Ты ведь не самый умный?" Your not the smartest one around are you" he asked. "Sorry i don't speak Russian so now tell me who are you". I asked.

He chuckled before taking of his mask and i recognised those blood red eyes anywhere. I was looking into the eyes of the devil amongst men. The dragon himself.
