Chapter 78

XURDEN didn’t know how long it has been since Yric left his house. He didn’t bother to check what day already it was. Because if he kept on thinking about him, he wouldn’t accomplish anything. He made himself busy catching the demons on his list.

The day was already dying, the sun’s red smeared over the city, and the wind against his face had grown cool. The sunlight cast red glints on the cylinder he was holding, flashing so that his eyes stung and his vision blurred. Now, the only thing he needed to do was to take back the last demon from Yric. But he didn’t have the strength to face the younger boy. Even though Yric told him something different from his servant’s wishes, he wasn’t still sure if he would agree if he went to him. Yric didn’t visit him even once. If he was really important to Yric, the younger boy would let him see him once without him looking for him.

He pulled his attention from the cylinder and turned his head to the alley where Sebastian walked out after cleaning
