Chapter 472

It was already 10:00 pm by the time Curtis carried Lilac back home.

He had been trying to put Lilac to sleep, but she refused to sleep, fearing that he would leave right after. She lay on the bed, tugging at his hand, asking him for a bedtime story.

Curtis had no choice but to listen to her.

Margot walked into the room and saw that the duo were still talking.

She reminded them, "It's getting late. You need to sleep soon. Do you want to sleep with Daddy or Mommy, Lilac?"

Lilac quickly hugged Curtis' arms tightly while lying on the bed.

She then looked at Margot and said, "I want to sleep with Daddy and Mommy. Come over, Mommy! Let's sleep together!"

Margot felt somewhat awkward as she said, "The bed is too small. You can only fit two people on it."
