Now that Lilac was awake, Curtis helped her change and brought her to the bathroom to freshen up.

As he walked out of the room with her in his arms, he saw Royce and Margot having breakfast together.

He was upset about it, but he could only swallow his sorrow and pretend like he saw nothing. He carried Lilac to the dining room to have breakfast together.

Seeing Curtis heading to the dining room with Lilac in his arms, Margot got up from her seat and went to get them some food.

With a gesture, she indicated to Curtis that Lilac should sit beside her. As she fed Lilac some food, she said, "Lilac, you're going to school after breakfast, right? You haven't been to school for two days already."

Lilac seemed to be in a good mood today. She raised her head to look at Margot and smiled.

"I'm going to school, but Mommy and Daddy need to stay with me, okay?" she said. "I don't want Daddy anymore if he's not with me."
