Chapter 471

The lights in the private room were turned on after the candles were blown.

Lilac threw herself over to Curtis to ask for a hug again. Curtis picked her up and sat in a corner as they ate the cake.

Margot and the others felt as if they had nothing else to do there.

It was especially so for Royce. He was put in an awkward situation after hearing Lilac's few wishes.

He should have minded his own business if he was smart enough. However, he was unresigned and wanted to give it another try.

As such, Royce went to cut a piece of cake and handed it to Margot.

He said, "You've been busy the entire day, Margot. You should take a seat and get a taste of my cake while you're resting."

Margot knew Royce had personally made the cake. She took the cake over and smiled before saying, "Thanks."

She took a bite of the cake and found that it was indeed delicious.

She gave Royce a thumbs up and said, "It's great!"
