Margot couldn't bear hearing Lilac's pleas as she sat there. She took out her phone and unblocked Curtis' number before calling him.

She then passed the phone to Lilac and said, "You can talk to him on your own."

"Okay," Lilac replied as she took the phone to her ear.

She was pursing her lips with teary eyes, looking pitiful.
