Frederick and Regina looked disappointed when they walked over.

"Is she still unwilling to give us another chance?" Frederick asked as he glanced in the direction Margot had left.

He was at a loss at how to compensate Margot, mainly because she had refused to see them. She would walk past them if they met, much less give them a chance to compensate her.

If this continued on, it would be useless even if they decided to stay in Amberville for another year or two.
