Chapter 462

Margot felt her heart clenched. She hugged Lilac tight as tears brimmed around the corners of her reddening eyes.

She said, "Will you feel better and obediently start eating if I call him over?"

Lilac nodded and replied, "Yes! I want Daddy."

Margot said, "Okay, Mommy will get him to come."

She was unwilling to dial Curtis' number, to the point of never wanting to contact him.

However, she felt heartbroken when she saw how sickly Lilac was. She was afraid something might happen to Lilac.

Added to the fact that Lilac had not been eating for the past two days. She would only grow sicker if this continued.

Margot had no choice but to pull out her phone and call Curtis in front of Lilac.

Nobody answered the call after a long time. It was Chester who eventually answered.

Chester asked respectfully, "How can I help you, Ms. Stone?"

Margot said, "I'm looking for Curtis. Is he around?"

Chester replied, "Mr. Crosby is away for a business trip. His phone is with me."
