05: Suspicious

"Hey, just wait," I heard Videlle say next to me, Dyhein's face slowly moved away while looking at Videlle. I looked away and my focus went back to drinking vitamilk.

"Why are you here?" Natt asked curiously as she sipped her drink and looked back at Tim and Dyhein. As I drank I felt the presence of one of their friends standing next to Dyhein.

"Uh, there's no place for the girls to sit, so we'll just share," After Tim answered, he immediately sat next to Natt, Natt looked at him irritated and moved away from Tim.

"Wow, when did you become a gentleman??!" Natt said sarcastically to Tim.

I was surprised when Dyhein sat on my right, I was surprised to look at him and there was a smile on his lips. I smiled a little at him in agreement as he sat next to me and looked away. I don't know how to speak! I want to leave here, it's so awkward! I noticed that only the three of us were quiet at the table while the three of them were laughing.

I turned to Videlle as she gently elbowed me "Let's switch seats," he whispered. I frowned at him while holding the bottle of vitamilk.

"H-huh?! No! I don't want!" I whispered to him and elbowed him a little harder. I was shocked when he looked at me seriously. I looked away and absorbed what I was drinking.

I noticed they were looking at each other just like before so I didn't agree to Videlle and I changing seats, I just didn't want the two of them to get into trouble. Because Videlle is so annoying! Just look at it like it's a challenge!

They were here for a while and left immediately because they still had school. We have already left. Videlle came back again because she had another class, while Natt and I stayed inside my car. Watching soccer players on the field.

I looked at Natt who was dumbfounded and looked straight ahead and seemed to be deep in thought. I turned on the radio and he almost jumped in her seat. She just looked at me and adjusted her seat.

"Do we have a problem?" I asked calmly and looked ahead."Nothing," She answered indifferently. I peeked at her for a moment and decided to stare at her.

"Nothing but the depth of thought?" I asked sarcastically. I smirked as she moved my face away to the left "Why!" I screamed laughing.

"Don't look at me! You look dumb!" She said irritatedly and tormented me.

"I can't stand it! That face looks just like shit!" I answered and tormented her. She cursed and burst out laughing. The smile on my face immediately disappeared "No really, what's your problem? Share it, I'll listen,"

She immediately pushed me so that I fell out of the window "The heck! It's so stupid! It's so much fun to suddenly get serious!" she screamed irritably and tortured me hard.

I didn't answer and waited for him to speak more. Earlier her face was irritated, but now it has changed to a serious face.

"Mom and dad are fighting again," She suddenly said. She put her hands on her lap as she looked seriously at the front.

I never saw her like this before when her Mom and Dad fought... I think this is a different kind of fight. I don't want to see anyone crying in front of me because I will also crying.

"Why? Do they always fight?"

"They always fight so I'm used to it. But their fight last night... it's different. It's different, it's a woman's talk, it hurts," she answered and wiped the tears from her eyes. I took my handkerchief and gave it to her, she took it and wiped her tears.

"Tito can't do that. If Tito has a girl, why does he still come home to your house? Why do you bond as a family every week? Why would you be told to go to bed early if he has a girl?" I asked her one question after another so she looked at me for a long time. After a few moments, she hugged me tightly and cried.

"Husshh. That will be fine... Just trust and understand, Natt. That's fine." I gently brushed her hair and kissed her forehead as she sobbed.

In the morning. I was surprised because Natt was absent today. I'm worried about him because of what happened yesterday with Uncle and Tita. I'm not used to being without him and his approval. I don't know what happened because he didn't mention anything to me last night... Maybe he was resting.

When it's lunch time. I was surprised because a man suddenly stood beside me, I looked up to see this Videlle who was sweating and busy looking at the food. Maybe just came from the game. My brows furrowed so I hit him in the side with my elbow. He was sick.

"What the hell, why did you hit me with your elbow?!" He put his hand on his side and wrinkled his face because of the pain.

"Hey! It's time for lunch?" My malice is dead and I have a smile on my lips.

"Crazy!" He yelled at me and moved slightly away from me "Where's Natt?" He got up and looked for Natt.

"No, she's sleeping on my butt-" He immediately cut off what I was going to say.

"Terrified!" He said annoyed and hit me. I looked at him evilly "My question is fine,"

"Probably! Absent! What?! You want her to treat you again? She already complaining! She said her pocket is hurting because of you!" I answered irritated and turned away from him.

"Naughty!" I heard him scream. I just gasped and laughed a little.

Lunch time passed, I was busy most of the afternoon even though my class was over. I'm giving Natt a lecture so he doesn't miss our lesson. It's a pity, that grade is also reduced. When I finished taking notes, I organized my things and put them inside my bag. I took it and walked out of the library.

While I was walking to the car park, I first went to the canteen to eat. I just looked at the canteen, I was immediately attracted to the food. When I finished eating, both of my eyebrows went up, I just realized that I ate a lot today. I took my wallet and paid.

When I arrived at the car park, I opened the back seat door and put my things in there, then I went around to the driver's seat, opened the door and got in. I started the car engine and drove it away.

When I left the gate of the Uni, I frowned because I saw a familiar face. My eyes narrowed and a few moments later I realized it was Tim. He was with someone, wearing a black mask and cap. He is wearing the same clothes. My forehead furrowed even more when I knew Tim was shouting that.

I jumped from my seat when someone honked behind me. I immediately drove my car out of the middle of the gate. I think I looked at Tim for a long time. I looked at the rear view mirror while driving and my eyes widened when I saw that Tim slapped me causing me to slow down. Surprisingly, I kept thinking why Tim slapped that girl. I shook my head and just went back to driving. I shouldn't think that but... I feel sorry for the girl.

I went to Natt's house first to give the lectures I wrote earlier in the library. I parked in front of their house and took my bag from the back seat to get the two notebooks. When I got it, I got out of the car and walked to Natt's front gate and rang the doorbell. His brother also came out immediately.

"What's that-- Heeyy! It's you, Devi, what are you doing here?" Nathan said and opened the gate wide.

I smiled a little at him and went in "Uhm, because Natt didn't come in, she want absent. I just wanted to ask is Natt here?" I asked while waiting for him to openthe gate.

"Oh! Is it my sister Natt?" He asked and I nodded in response "Oh! I forgot! She's not here now, she's going to somewhere I dind't know,"

I frowned "A-ahh... don't you know where she went?"

He scratched the back of his neck "He said he was going to see Mom at work,"I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded.

"Alright... Oh! What the hell, I'll just give the lectures we had earlier, it's still important... Just tell him I came by, okay?" I said and handed him the two notebooks.

He nodded and took it. I smiled at him before leaving their yard. After I got out, I got into the car and drove it away. While I was on the flight, I took out my phone and texted Natt.

To Natt:

I gave the lectures we had earlier to Nathan. Read it, it's important.

While I was driving I thought... Maybe she is fixing his parents' relationship especially since she is the oldest child. I feel sorry for Natt... She shouldn't have to go through that if Tita only believed in Tito... I feel that it is very difficult for her especially since she is still studying. I really hope that her family will be okay.

The next day, I went in early. I went straight to the library because I had a book to borrow. When I borrowed the book, I went straight to the canteen, I'm going to eat first because I didn't have breakfast at my condo earlier and my class hasn't started yet.

"Wow, you're so early today," I turned to my side when someone suddenly sat next to me "Does that look delicious?" 

 He was about to take the food from my hand but I immediately moved it away and glared at him. 

 "You know, you're rude! I'm eating, I'm going to fight," I teased him and took a bite of my food.

"The sorry," He sarcastically said.

I didn't pay attention to him and I was just focused on eating, for a few moments I looked at him when he suddenly stood up. I followed him until I realized he was going to buy food.

I was about to bite into the food but suddenly I remembered Natt. I took my phone and frowned as I looked at my message to him yesterday. Until now, he has not replied to my message to him yesterday. It's just amazing.

I looked at Videlle who sat next to me "Videlle, do you still talk to Natt?" I will ask.

He frowned. So... It means he doesn't know anything either? Just from his expression, it's obvious.

"Talking? No. Why?" He asked. I looked away.

"Nothing, he just doesn't answer my calls and messages to her since yesterday. I'm worried," I answered.

"Huh? Natt is already here," I immediately turned behind me when he suddenly pointed with his snout.

I immediately stood up from my seat "Natt!!" I shouted so the other college students looked at me.

She smiled and immediately came to Videlle and I's place. When she got closer she smiled at us again.

"Why don't you answer my messages and calls?" I asked in a calm tone, so as not to surprise her

.Her lips parted "U-uh... What, my phone was drained yesterday... hehe," she answered and tried to smile. I nodded.

"Did you catch the lectures I gave Nathan?" I asked and leaned back in the chair.

"L-lectures?" she stammered to make me turn to her again "N-oh!... Sorry, I wasn't home yesterday. Sorry..." she said shyly and scratched hersenses.

I smiled a little at her "That's okay, I have a copy. Just read it later." I said.

He just nodded in response and sat next to me. He also explained to us why he was not there yesterday, I just listened to him silently. I can't scold him because I know he's going through something right now. I don't want to add to his problems.

When the class ended, Natt came home before me because maybe her two brothers were crying at home. I was going to drop her off but I have something to go through but she is in a hurry.

I took my bag and walked to the car park. As I walked closer to my car, I saw Tim and Dyhein talking in front of my car. When I got close they both turned to me, I immediately gave them a small smile.

"Hey, wassup! It looks like boys to boys talk?" I asked jokingly and laughed a little. Tim grinned and looked at me.

"Yes, it's boys to boys talk." he answered "What's you bring here?" Tim asked me.

"Uhm, nothing. You guys are leaning in front of my car, so get out." I stared at them both as tehy left in front of my car, I was about to open the driver's seat door but I stopped because of what I heard.

"You know that will happen if you refuse our bet."
