Chapter 1

(Grinding teeth)

A huge scream disturbed the townsfolk slumber in the middle of the night.

"Demons!" The young girl screamed.

The noise caused the town to go into chaos. Their hearts filled with fear as the moon stings onto their face.

A grinding tooth of the demon cut through a man's neck. The demon's hunger is out of control, attacking every human that caught it's attention.

"More! More! More!" A weak response from the demon.

The young girl had nowhere to run, and the boxes that scattered on the muddy ground blocked her way.

"Here kitty!" A sweet smile was carved on the demon's face. "Someone help!" A weak response of the girl.

The demon enjoyed the fear of the young girl as she slowly got absorbed by fear. The sharp claws and grinding teeth of the demon is getting hype as the desire to slaughter the young girl increases.

"Get your filthy hands off of her!" A shout distracted the hungry demon.

The demon quickly stared back at the origin of the voice. His eyes gradually widened as he saw the approaching footstep.

"Impossible! A warrior?" The demon responds with a fear.

"You filthy demon! Face your death!" A fierce sound deflects the demon.

The demon made a grumpy face and attacked the warrior. He flexed his claws and fangs as he jumped mid air to launch his attack.

"How foolish" the warrior whispered.

And as the demon finally lands a hit, his very body was torn to pieces in the air.

"What!" A fading messy thought of the demon decimated in the cold air.

The young girl felt ease as she saw the warrior in front of her offer his hand.

"Are you alright?" The warrior asked.

The young girl nodded delivering a surprise hug to the warrior.

 "There now, it's ok, no one's gonna hurt you anymore." A warm engulfed the young girl's cold body.

The town soon calmed down as many warriors came in to aid the town. Many warriors held a conference in the middle of the town. An elegant woman stepped out wearing a warm kimono with a sword on her back. Silence immediately engulfs the group of warriors.

"As you already know, demons gradually attacked heavy guard towns within the past days. The organization was very aware about this situation, so they ordered the higher rank warriors to aid the remaining towns that are oftenly attacked by demons. That's why I'm here, I'm Galatrina ranked 3 to aid you.

The warriors muttering were surprised by the sudden aid of this woman warrior.

"Galatrina the calm!" A warrior spoke in a surprised way.

"Really? Now this is a game changer!" Another warrior responded excitedly.

The warriors rejoice as the ranked 3 Galatrina joined the defensive warriors. As the warriors felt at ease, a scream emerged and stunned every warrior in the area.

"Somebody! Help!" A man screamed out. 

"What's the matter?" Galatrina asked calmly. 

"An awakened demon suddenly showed up at the edge of the town!" The man responds weakly.

The warriors panicked as they heard the awakened demon that suddenly emerged.

"This is bad! We can't win!" A warrior shouted hesitantly.

"Calm down. Remember you have me." Galatrina smiled calmly. 

"As expected from a ranked 3 warrior." Another warrior replied.

Galatrina opened her gold eyes and jumped elegantly at every roof, like a butterfly dancing above the night sky.

"How can she jump that lightly?" A warrior asked in confusion.

"As her name suggests, she can jump flawlessly like a calm sea. Her technique is quite deadly for a one on one fight, that's why she liked to fight alone." Another warrior responded. 

"What do you mean?" A warrior asked.

"She can manipulate the flow of ryuk of her opponent, that means taking control of her enemy's movement." The warrior smiled

Meanwhile,

The awakened demon destroyed everything it saw.

"I'm hungry." The demon weakly responds.

At that time, Galatrina arrived. 

"How annoying, these things keep coming, might as well end this quickly." She smiled while drawing her sword.

The awakened demon quickly noticed her.

"Food!" It spoke in a hesitant way.

It's body changed into a bat-like creature with a large pair of wings and pointed ears.

"So how's your day?" Galatrina asked while evading the attacks from the demon.

The demon released an ultrasonic sound in response.

"No good ha." Galatrina spoke.

The demon launched a physical attack towards her. She stopped and smiled at the approaching attack. The whole roof shattered along with the house where Galatrina was. The demon felt a grin and reverted back to its human form.

“Phew, that was a bang" Galatrina surprisingly emerged at the demon's back.

The demon was confused. It immediately transforms back to it's demon form. But what happened next was unexpected, the claws of the demon were stabbed in it's own heart.

"Told you, I'll finish it quickly." Galatrina smiled.

The demon tried to pull it's claws but instead it slowly deepens it's claws, destroying it's own heart and piercing it's own body to pieces. A shower of blood rained down. Galatrina held an umbrella which she used to flee elegantly while smiling.

"As far as I know, you're not supposed to be here" Galatrina spoke at the edge of the street.

A figure showed up.

"I just came here to see you, but unfortunately a demon was about to prey on a little girl so I was a bit late." A man's voice responded.

"How annoying, then what's the ruckus?" Galatrina asked.

"The organization ordered us to withdraw for the moment." The man answered. 

"And why is that?" Galatrina asked.

"The demons including the awakened ones that attacked were all cleaned up by Teresa." The man responded.

"As expected from the most powerful warrior, she can destroy all the incoming threats with ease. She can all dispose of all the four abyssal demons if she wanted to, but where's the fun in that?" Galatrina smiled while intimidating herself.

"Then, I'll be going." The man suddenly disappeared out of thin air.

Galatrina sighed and smiled at the moon. 

"Alucard, the executioner. You sure are fast. And Teresa, the death dealer. A warrior that has never been seen to use her demon power to destroy her enemy, and the most powerful one that has ever been created. Even the past generation of warriors could not match up to her combat ability. Truly this is interesting." Galatrina soon continued to walk under the bright full moon.

At the peak of the Orasio mountain lies the training ground for warriors partaking in a strict training. One of the trainees that finally be given a rank is Rioka Katanagi. A man in black hood with a grin on his face approaches Rioka.

"You will be sent on a mission tomorrow." The man spoke.

Rioka immediately agreed and made a serious look which intimidated the field of trainees.

"Also, the organization gave you a rank of 13 based on your training performance and combat ability. With your technique Detection, you will become handy to the higher rank, except for her of course." The man spoke to Rioka with a smile. "What do you mean her?" Rioka asked in confusion.

"Nothing. Just be prepared ,tomorrow your first mission will be carried out." The man then immediately left.

Out of confusion, Rioka took a deep breath to let out the nervousness that he felt. The sky is vast like an ocean. Rioka looked up high and his eyes turned scarlet red.
