Chapter 3: Battle at the North land

Chapter 3

(Battle at the North land.)

Couple of warriors gather in front of the town. Most of them are mid rank and a lower rank. Galatrina is also participating the battle. And, Hiyojin, a rank 5 is also one of the leader.

"Say Hiyojin, I saw Alucard headed towards the Southern land, but I'm certain that he's here." Galatrina spoke.

"Well, he likes to be around you sometimes." Hiyojin answered.

Galatrina sighed as she notices Alucard peeking her at the thin wall. Hiyojin also noticed him and laughed.

"Alucard, you can come out now. You're too obvious you know." Hiyojin poked the hiding Alucard. 

"I was just thinking. Alucard, could you please come out and let's discuss something." Galatrina spoke calmly.

Alucard then appeared with a serious look.

"What's with that face?" Hiyojin asked bluntly.

"Stop teasing him Hiyojin, or else I will reveal your secret." Galatrina respond while smiling.

"Alright, I'll shut up." Hiyojin agreed.

Meanwhile,

The warriors that headed to the Southern land is delayed because of the demons that blocked their way. But eventually they slayed them all and continued their walk. One of the high ranked warrior that accompanied them is Hanzo, a rank 4.

"The town that we'll be defending is up ahead. Prepare yourselves incase of danger or traps." Hanzo announced clearly.

The warriors agreed and stayed sharp as they approached the town. Nothing suspicious at first glance, but a couple of corpses is lying on the floor when they were close enough.

"Stay sharp! Don't let your guard down!" Hanzo shouted.

The warriors stand firmed as they expand their field of vision to inspect the town. But as the time pass by, nothing suspicious were reported. Just the corpses lying on the floor. They sighed and breath out as the inspections are finished.

"Listen up! The organization ordered us to disposed any demons who will try to pass this town. If the demons successfully entered the town and made their way to the north. Many towns will be caught in their battle. And many lives will be lost. So, in order to avoid that consequences, we are here to prevent that from happening. No matter what the odds are, we will defend this town till our last breath. Is that clear!" Hanzo shouted bravely.

The warriors responded by raising their swords.

"CLEAR!" A huge shout from the brave warriors.

Meanwhile, 

Rioka arrived at the town he was assigned in. There he felt a strong presence in the area.

"Uh! I've never sense any warrior this powerful!" He was stunned as he continue to walk.

He was shaking all of a sudden as he reach the middle of the town. There, a single warrior is standing beside a statue. She was silent and quite unnoticed. But for warriors who has a high detection for ryuk. Her presence is enough to set fear on her anyone. Rioka then slowly walked towards her as his sweat filled his face.

"You must be Rioka right?" The warrior asked.

"Uhmm, yes." Rioka answered quickly.

"This is the middle land which is the center of the four lands. Any demons who will pass the secured town to the North or South will eventually pass here. Same to the west and east. So this is the perfect spot for monitoring the remaining two abyssal demon." The warrior respond with ease.

Rioka felt uneasy being around this powerful warrior.

"Anyway, I haven't introduce myself yet. I'm Teresa." The warrior spoke calmly.

"It's a pleasure to meet you in person." Rioka replied.

"Same here. Now then, let's proceed to our spot." Teresa answered.

Rioka immediately agreed and went on. They eventually sense something out of the blue.

"Well, looks like we got company." Teresa looked at a far distance. 

"This presence, is this one of the abyssal demons?" Rioka asked directly.

"Not quite, you see there are awakened demons that can rival the abyssal one. But they tend to hide instead of dominating it's area. And this one is the very example of it. My guess is, it's taking this opportunity to attacked this village where many people are resting low." Teresa answered and smile at the distance.

"This is bad!" Rioka panicked.

"Relax, although I said this one can rival the abyssal demons. But still, this one is totally weaker and dumber than that of abyssal demon. It wants to attacked this village knowing I'm here. Looks like somebody wants a death wish." Teresa faintly smiled while looking at the enemy's location.

Rioka is left unspoken, for he didn't expect this outcome.

"It's close, and it's fast!" Rioka spoke while concentrating.

"Looks like that man in black is right. You can detect any incoming enemies at a far distance. Well not to mention, you're pretty powerful for a rank 13. Well, that doesn't matter anyway, as long as you're a warrior." Teresa smiled at Rioka.

Rioka is touched as he sees a warrior with a pure intention and heart.

"How do you became the most powerful warrior in this generation miss Teresa?" Rioka asked as he drew his sword.

"I totally do not know how. But one thing is for sure, I chose this path and I'm going to end this war quickly." Teresa then jumped in the air, so high that she looks like a bird flying in the blue sky.

Rioka also followed Teresa as they approach the incoming opponent.

Meanwhile, 

The warriors in the northern lands do not know what's about to rained down to them. Most of them is at ease not knowing an approaching hordes of demons are coming their way.

"Stay alert at all cost." Galatrina spoke calmly.

"Looks like they do not know what we're going to." Hiyojin with  a serious face respond.

"What do you mean?" Alucard asked in confusion.

Galatrina turned around and open her gold eyes.

"I know you sensed it Alucard. This is going to be a quite trouble." Galatrina spoke calmly but with sweat on her cheeks.

"I know, and one of them is going to be a pain in the ass." Alucard respond in a menacing way.

Hiyojin then looked at the sky.

"So we're facing him ha. Leomord, former number 1 of the 1st generation of warriors. If only Teresa is here." He looked down at the ground while sweating.

Most of the warriors finally sensed the incoming demons. They braced themselves as the approaching hordes of demons trampled the ground and creating an earthquake within the earth.
