Chapter 5: Party Time

Eric was as shocked as I was, he was stunned to see me. He couldn't believe that I was standing right in front of his eyes. As soon as he saw me he glanced at his fiancée, Elizabeth. 

Elizabeth found it weird why Eric was looking at her like that, she raised her eyebrows asking him indirectly what was wrong. Then Eric lowered his eyes indicating it was nothing. Before Eric or I could say anything, Brad started speaking.

Brad stood up and held Eric’s shoulder, “Everyone, this is Eric, the manager of the academy, in my absence he would always guide you for every little thing. This is a celebration time as Eric and his fiancee, Elizabeth got engaged yesterday. So, today we wouldn’t work, in the evening I will take you all to the clubhouse for the celebration, the party’s on me.”

Everyone cheered for the couple and started shouting. Soon, everyone dispersed from the office and went to their respective places. Ash took me with her before going. I looked back one more time and saw Eric, though Brad was also standing with him but I couldn’t take my eyes off of Eric. 

Ash grabbed my hands and took me to the nearby mall. We went to the food court first because Ash knew I had a lot to talk about. 

We sat there, “Why is this happening to me all of a sudden? I mean wasn’t two years of torture was enough?”

I sighed, “After all, what harm have I done to anyone that all this is happening to me? That jerk, why did he come into my life again and that too like this? Ash Academy was the only place where I felt like I could get some peace, now I won't get that either.”

Ash tried to console me, "Why do you worry? Whoever wants to come can come, you stay on your path. Look I think we should not react without thinking because what is Elizabeth's fault in all this? She doesn't even know anything."

I couldn’t agree more with her, “Yes, you are right, what you are saying is right and don't worry I will not do anything that will hurt Elizabeth because I know how it feels to have a heart broken. Just keep giving me courage so that I can get some courage.”

Ash hugged me, “Don’t worry, I will always be there for you Ari.”

I felt quite light after talking with Ash. We went shopping and afterwards we were getting ready for the party. Ash wanted me to look as gorgeous as possible so that stupid Eric realised what he had lost. Well I couldn’t agree with her more. 

Soon we got ready for the party. I was  ready to turn heads as I entered the room. I was wearing sexy attire for the party which made me feel confident. 

I step into the party, exuding an air of undeniable confidence in the choice of attire. My dress is a work of art, designed to accentuate my every curve and to captivate anyone lucky enough to catch a glimpse of me. It's a sultry, form-fitting silhouette that leaves just enough to the imagination.

The dress is a deep shade of midnight black, a color that not only flatters the figure but also radiates a sense of mystery and intrigue. The fabric is a sensuous combination of silk and lace, creating a mesmerizing interplay of textures against the skin. The sweetheart neckline reveals a hint of décolletage, teasing with a subtle allure.

Spaghetti straps delicately rest on the shoulders, allowing my bare skin to glow. The back of the dress plunges into a daring V, almost reaching the small of my back, drawing attention to the graceful curve of the spine. A concealed zipper makes the dress cling to the form, accentuating my hourglass shape.

AsI moved, the dress gracefully sways around the legs, stopping just above the knee, showcasing the toned calves. I completed the look with stiletto heels that add both height and elegance, making the legs appear endless.

The choice of accessories is tasteful but alluring – a delicate necklace that nestles between the collarbones, a pair of chandelier earrings that gently sway with every step, and a clutch purse adorned with sequins that glint in the soft glow of the party lights.

The makeup is an artful blend of smoky eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and lips painted a deep, inviting red. The hair, expertly styled, falls in loose waves that frame my face and tumble sensuously over the shoulders.

Confident, poised, and irresistibly alluring, she's the embodiment of elegance and sex appeal. Her attire leaves an indelible impression, a vision of sensuality and sophistication that turns every head in the room.

I noticed that as soon as I entered the party dining Eric couldn't take his eyes off me. He kept on glaring at me while Ash smiled as her plan of making me look like some magazine model became successful. 

I am one of those people who never reveal too much of my body for the first time I dressed like that, though Ash said I look exquisitely beautiful yet I was a bit nervous as the dress revealed too much which was ok for others but I was a bit shy. 

Out of nervousness I was rubbing my both hands secretly. It's when from behind someone touched my back, “Care to dance, Arena?”

I think my heart just dropped, I looked back and it was Brad, I started hiccupping.

“There you go again,” he laughed. 

The moment I turned my hair covered the face so he removed my hair from the face gently and came real close to me, “I know, because of Eric you are nervous, I don’t know the whole story but in the ceremony also you ask them to take you away and in the office also I sensed it. Don’t worry, I am only trying to help you.”

I think he just read my mind.
