Three years later

Lucy

The sound of my alarm woke me up from sleep, lazily stretching my hand; I hurled it across the room, letting it smash loudly. Draping my hand over my eyes, I groaned loudly feeling upset over the fact that it is morning already.

Sitting up, I stared at the pitiable pieces of the alarm clock on the floor. I guess I'll be purchasing the tenth alarm clock this month. Pulling the duvet away from my body, I got up to prepare for today's business.

An hour and thirty minutes later, I stood inside my liquor shop, singing along with Celine Don's music playing in the background as I stocked the new liquor. Thinking back to how I started this shop.

Three years ago, I woke up in Los Angeles, not remembering who I am or where I come from.
