 Chapter 1: Dysfunctional family.

  

The darkness is nothing more than a test that God gives us, many times to overcome things and learn from it, but in the end we all carry that darkness in our hearts, we just have to decide whether to expel it or let it dwell within you.

Charlotte is a girl who has been in the dark since she was born, her parents were shitty to her, she was beaten and mistreated unjustifiably simply because her parents wanted it that way, but to understand a little of this story we must return to the past.

Charlotte's parents, who at the age of adolescence were going from party to party, studied at the same high school and that's where they met.

It was 1995 in January, Noah Ramirez was 16 years old, while Chloe White was 14 years old.

Noah Ramirez came from a very wealthy family, while Chloe White was from a humble home, they studied at the same high school but in different grades.

On that January night there was one of the most important parties in all the United States, California, this was the party of a friend of Chloé White, therefore, this was how she managed to get into the party and Noah Ramirez's parents were partners of the organizers of such a party.

It was time for the very special night, Chloé White was getting ready to look very pretty and attract attention on this occasion, she went to the closet in her room, and although she didn't have big and beautiful brand name dresses, the ones she had were very nice, she chose a purple dress, threw it on the bed, and then began to put it on.

Once she had her dress on, she went to her mirror to fix her hair and put a few things on her face.

Chloe was ready to go to the party, when she finished getting ready she got up from her chair and went to her mother's room, who woke her up to go to the event.

Her mother was ready and they both went to the car to take her to the party.

Upon arriving at the party, Chloé set foot inside this luxurious place and was completely surrounded by purely wealthy people, it was noticeable even in their walk, but she just avoided it and went in search of her friend, the sorrow she had inside was gigantic seeing how the others looked, but she came to accompany her friend, so that was what she would do in the end.

At that moment when she was looking for her friend was where everything happened, by mistake and distraction of both, they were walking in opposite directions and inadvertently tripped, Noah was carrying wine in his hand and this fell on his dresser leaving it all stained when Chloe White began to say:

''Hey, don't you look where you're going! You ruined my dress, now what am I going to do?''

Noah started laughing at what she said and answered her:

''Easy, you can tell it's a poor quality dress, better throw it away.'' He ignored what she had done and went on his way.

Chloe, hearing what he said, grabbed his hand and turned him around angrily and said:

''The important thing is not expensive, you just say it because you are a rich mommy and daddy's child.'' In that instant, close to her and with her hand, she grabbed a wine that a servant brought and threw it on Noah's clothes quickly and mercilessly. ''So we are even.'' After saying this, she let out a mocking laugh.

Noah seeing her stained clothes grabbed her hand and forcibly pulled her into the room as she screamed:

Let me go, I really don't want to go. Have you gone crazy?'' Chloe said as she struggled to get out of the man's hands.

Noah took her into a dark room, then turned on the light and said angrily.

"Calm down already! My parents keep their clothes here, and you can use some of my mother's, you're a lucky girl, you'll exchange a cheap dress for something brand name.''

Chloe White, upon hearing what he said, became angry with him and responded:

''I don't need your fucking money or your clothes, you know? I'd better get out of here.'' She started to walk to the door of the room until she felt a tug from this guy, this guy wouldn't let her leave the room.

Noah angrily grabbed her arm and turned her around, telling her:

''I think we got off on the wrong foot, let me introduce myself, I'm Noah Ramirez, what's your name?

When she saw his beautiful brown eyes, she was intimidated and with a broken voice she answered him:

"My name is Chloe White, nice to meet you. And so yes, maybe we got off on the wrong foot.

Noah upon hearing his name, said to him:

''Very nice name.'' He went to the closet door and took out a very nice brown dress and handed it to her while he said. ''Use this dress, because of your skin color and your hair I feel it will be very beautiful.''

Chloe grabbed the dress with much regret and went to the bathroom to change, when she got to the bathroom she closed the door and began to take off the dress she was wearing and began to detail this one that Noah had given her, it was very beautiful, this was a brown dress with a white belt and had a few pearls, it was beautiful.

With great care she began to put on this dress which fit her very well, when she was ready she came out of the bathroom and found Noah already ready, when they saw each other they had a new click, which neither of them had had before.

Noah thought as he saw Chloe come out of the bathroom:

''Wow, I hadn't noticed how pretty this girl was! And the dress looks beautiful on her, too.''

Chloe, seeing Noah all dressed up, thought:

''Is this the same cocky guy I bumped into a while ago? It's just that he looks so beautiful now.'' At that very moment, this beautiful woman's heart began to pound.

When they saw each other, they both smiled and left the room.

Chloe went running to her friend to tell her what happened and Noah went to his friends to tell her about the girl, they had both clicked, and they wanted to get to know each other.

At the end of the party Chloé was waiting for her mom sitting on the stairs, her mother was still not home and for some reason she wasn't answering her phone either, Noah saw Chloe and went over to her and sat down next to her and said:

A girl as pretty as you, what's she doing alone?

She looked at him and began to laugh as she said:

''Well, I'm alone, since the friend I was with has already left, but my mother has turned off the phone.''

Noah upon hearing this immediately responded to him:

''Hey great! Well great, about your friend, not your mother.'' He brought his hands to his head, even he had not understood what he had said, but he quickly reflected and told her again. ''I'm leaving now, if you want you can come to my house, and I'll pick you up there, okay?''

Chloe wanted to accept, but she was afraid her mother would be angry about this, even though she really wanted to eat Noah.

Chloe stretched out her hand as a sign that she would go and without thinking said:

''Of course I want to go, now where do you live?''

Noah got up from the stairs, grabbed Chloe's hand and lifted her up as he happily told her:

You'll see, you'll love my home!''

He grabbed Chloe's hands and went to the car that was waiting for him, when he got to the car he took his hand to the handle and opened the door, he got in and Chloé got in with him.

After a long trip the car was already entering the residence where this boy lived, Chloe began to look surprised at the whole place, she had never had the opportunity to visit something as majestic as that, so she continued observing until the car arrived at a house, stopped and two servants approached the place to open the door, this to what they opened the door began to get out of the car.

Noah was already out of the car, but Chloe was very embarrassed and did not want to get out, Noah put his head in and with his hand invited her to get out of the car while he told her:

"Come on, come in with confidence! Nothing is going to happen to you, you are going to meet my parents and that's all.''

Chloe began to get out of the car until she was finally out of the place, without further ado she looked around it was a very big house or rather a mansion and excitedly took his hand and looked at him when she met his eyes a sweet smile came out of her face.

Noah took her arm and invited her into his house, they both started walking up the driveway, and from there he introduced her to his parents.

After everything that had happened, there they were, Chloe and Noah, both talking about what they were, what they felt, one with the other, staring at each other, slowly and very passionately, until without being able to avoid it, their lips slowly began to come closer until finally, without being able to avoid it, they were both exploring each other's bodies, both letting themselves be carried away by the passion of that beautiful moment.
