Chapter twenty four

I watched her come down from his car with Tristan’s hand at her back as they walked towards us.

We got here a few minutes ago and was told by one of his men that he was out but would be back shortly. We decided to wait as he was to lead us to the silver oak trees.

I had series of discussions with Ross after the one on one meeting with Tristan and he kept on nagging about why I was riled up about Hazel when I single handedly sent her out.

His exact words were these, “what the hell were you thinking? You wanted to start a war for a girl you threw out?” He bluntly told me, looking me in the eyes.

“A bloody war is exactly what I’ll start!” My tight fist kiss his face as I answered him with a growl.

Ross is my childhood friend and that’s the only thing keeping him breathing and standing next to me. He understands me better than anyone else and is the only one that can stand up to me and still live on.
