“Wait… how long would it take to get to the bakery from here?” I found myself asking as the question hung in there and Ross turned to look at me quickly before wondering if he should really answer that.

“I’m sure you’ve calculated it, you’ve never had an issue with mapping out areas so out with it!” I demanded.

“A normal wolf would take around 30 to 45 minutes but with Hazel an hour tops should do it from here.” He said with his raised eyebrows, as he looked over me through the mirror.

I could hear him give volume to how weak her wolf smelt, and his eyes were pointing daggers at me clearly blaming me.

Relaxing a bit and ignoring his eyes, “it wouldn’t take that long then, she wouldn’t have to shift.” I relaxed as I looked into the mirror once more as we moved further and I couldn’t see her anymore.
