“She's just so stubborn,”

I complained to my beta as he was downing his own glass of wine between the two of us. He dropped it and then after staring profoundly at the roof, dropped his eyes to the glass again to take another serving for himself.

“Well, you already knew that when you married her and you brought her here, obviously you can't change her so it's either you accept her the way she is or you replace her with somebody else it's that simple really…”

The idea of replacing Evelyn was leaving a very bitter taste in my mouth and that was what everybody was suggesting, but nowadays, I could not really place my feelings about her. Before it had been completely unquestionable, she was the only woman I saw that could be my Luna, however, I was beginning to wonder if I had trusted her into a position that was not meant for her in the first place.
