Chapter 166

Kian's pov

“Three more…we lost three more just this morning,” the head doc told me, I looked at him across his desk. He looked like he had aged an extra decade since the last time I saw him, the lines on his face appeared like they would feel leathery to touch.

He was exhausted, as was everyone else as well. The nurses strapped in their protective gear coming out of the quarantine zones also looked like zombies.

During this pandemic, I had to hire more staff for the hospitals. Of course, I could afford it for my people. The only problem for me was just that this sickness…such a thing was not what I was used to dealing with.

I was known as an Alpha of war, and having a straightforward foe that I could attack directly was mostly easy for me, I would gather my men and then strategize then strike but this was different…so different that it was a pain indeed.
