Evelyn's pov

Even though I knew that the park was just close by and we wouldn't have to go there, there was still a dreadful feeling in my chest, of running into Kian after so long. I never really gave him any explanation as to why I left, he must have returned back to the mansion confused and conflicted I don't know if the letter that I wrote for him would have been enough to satisfy his curiosity but I knew I couldn't stay and say those words, if not I would have never had the courage to leave at all.
