Mood of Jealously

<After Practice>

Lunch Time

“Girl, you need to tell me why you decided to be the late queen of the day, for damn sake I was scared something bad might have happened to you” Mia said as they went to the general dinning to have their lunch. Ariel rolled her eyes

“Well I kinda slept late last night, and that Dorothy girl couldn’t wake me up.” She muttered. They took their seat opposite each other as other contestant step in, taking their seats at different tables.

“The song I was given is a bit easy, if I was given yours, I won’t have been able to sing four lines as at now” Mia grunted

“Why do you say so?”

“Well, the songs you choose are really hard to perform”

“Oh…they are not hard for me”

They kept talking about random things as Ariel caught the sight of Theo coming into the room. The idols rarely visit the contestant lounge, so what is he doing here, she thought as all eyes turned to him. He signaled to one of the guards standing by and whispered some things to his hearing before leaving.

“Awwnnn” Some girls whined as they stare at his exiting figure

“He is just so cute, I’m falling for him already” One of the girls spoke out as others laugh. Mia rolled her eyes hard, making Ariel chuckle

“You won’t wanna lose those pretty eyes”

“Those girls are just so annoying, they just want everyone to know that they are crushing on these idols, huhnn” She scoffs, Ariel shrug. She thought of telling Mia about what Michael did earlier, but on a second thought, what if Mia take it to another extend? They are actually in a contest and doesn’t need distractions, she knows her friend very well. Fighting an idol, especially the leader of the Triple Boys’ band will do her no good until she wins this contest.

“I will just let things end first before putting him in his place since I have no proof” She thought within

<Axel’s Lounge>

Ariel rang the doorbell twice but got no response, perhaps they are sleeping or what, she thought. But Aiden texted her now to come meet him at Axel’s lounge, but none of them is coming to open the door. She turned the knob open and went in without waiting further. In her hands were some books, she held it firmly to her chest, her feet kissing the cold tiles on the floor. She could hear someone laughing, or more like a chuckle in the inner room. She hesitated a while before walking further and caught a view of someone making a video call on his PC. Looking at his back view, she knew it wasn’t Aiden, because his hair was dyed pink. This must be Axel, she thought within.

She tried not making a sound in order not to interrupt his call, but he noticed her presence and turned to stare at her. She gasp in shock, but her shock grew more, sending chills down her legs when she sighted someone whom she never thought of seeing again one the PC screen. The young guy, with a pretty girl sitting on his legs, the guys was the one speaking with Axel, while the girl was focused on her phone, showing only her side view.

The books fell off her hand as her mouth open wide in surprise.

“Juan?” She whispered softly going closer, but Axel beat her to ended the call

“Will call you later jack” He spoke to the guy

“Ok…bye..Axel wanna end the call..” Jackson said to Juan who tried looking into the screen. This time her face was revealed clearly to Ariel, but she didn’t look at Ariel’s direction, she only waved at Axel, who wasted no time in ending the call.

“What is it” He asked, facing her

“J…uan…that was…I mean…I thought i…” She shuttered, he squinted. This tie, Aiden who had heard the thudding sound the books made came into the scene

“Oh Ariel….” He called smiling. She rushed to him in haste, holding his shirt and pointing towards Axel’s PC, rushing her words. Axel couldn’t fathom what she was talking about, but he was sure that she mentioned the name of the black girl

“What is it” Aiden asked, trying to reduce her panic

“I saw her…I saw the girl…she was here…I mean…I saw Juan”

“Hey calm down…tell me who you saw…what’s wrong with you”

Out of anxiety, she still couldn’t speak well. He places his lips on hers capturing her soft lips, as he kissed her deeply. Her already tensed shoulders dropped, she calmed down a bit as he breaks the kiss. Axel who had been watching them kiss, left the scene, boiling with rage as he head towards his room.

Aiden stared into her eyes passionately as she stared at his, she tried looking downward, she was expecting another kiss, but he beat her to it, as he raised her chin upward facing him. He smiled genuinely

“Are you ok now?” he asked. She nodded

“So tell me, who are you talking about” He muttered pulling her to sit beside him on the couch as she began her explanation.

Axel burst into his room, fuming with rage

“Gosh, what’s wrong with me, I shouldn’t be feeling this way, what’s going on” He thought; ruffling his hair.

The scene of Aiden kissing Ariel came playing itself again in his mind, as he groan, lying on the bed, folding a pillow on his head. Other scenes kept coming; Flora making out with Michael, the girl in his nightmare smiling at him as he tried touching her, but she vanish immediately. He was hallucinating again.

“Dimmit…this isn’t happening again. Ariel is Aiden’s, not mine. I shouldn’t be thinking about what they do together” He thought to himself picking up his coat as he went out.

<In Paris>

Juan laid quietly on Jacksons laps; resting her head on his chest as he operates his phone, using his left her to caress her back. Her mind drifted to Ariel. The young girl that steeped into the building in the video call Jackson had wit Axel, had the same features as Ariel. The long hair, flawless skin, curvy shape, and so on, but the worst part of her thought is that she only got a glimpse before the call ended. She had a feeling that she saw who look exactly like her, but could she be right about her thought, or perhaps she didn’t get to see the face so clearly.

“What are you thinking about” Jackson spoke out, stroking her hair. She relaxed her body well on his, caressing his chest

“I saw a young girl in the video beside Axel, she looks like Ariel, the girl I told you about” She explained, he shrug

“You’re sure about that?”

“Well, I can’t say. I only had a glance but I haven’t seen any African with such long hair she has, so she would have to be the one”

“Ok….but you know, I don’t want you to trouble yourself too much. When Axel calls back next time, we will try to find out, okay” he muttered. She smiled, nodding her head as she placed a k*ss on his lips. He deepened it, his hand going towards her n**ple, she tried beating his hand off

“Stop that…we are in public” He chuckled, k**sing her neck, as she laugh out loud

After leaving the lounge, Axel headed towards a garden filled with colorful flowers, close to a clean flowing river, at the far end of the compound. It took him some minutes to get there, due to its distance from the lounges. He took his seat on one of the benches close by, examining the waves the river made. He exhales softly, trying hard to calm his mind. Whenever he is in distress of any kind, he love going to a quiet area, where he could have a good time.

He had a twig of leaves behind him as he turned to have a look. Standing there was Sophia, looking gracious in her outfit, he couldn’t deny that, but she just isn’t the one he wished to see now. After the little make out they had at his house the other day, they haven’t been in good terms, like the way they use to be before.

She walked closer, sitting beside him with her hands placed on her laps. He didn’t bother turning to look at her, but closed his eyes instead, taking in fresh breath which was already missed with her perfume. She glance at him and sighed.

“Axel….” She called

“Huhmm” he mumbled, eyes still closed

“Hey come on..open your eyes,  let me have a view of those lovely blue things” She smiled, but he didn’t move a bit. She sighed disappointedly

“Axel….I don’t like this cold attitude. Fine, I know that I did something wrong, but I already apologize. Why are you treating me this way, we used to be best of friends you know.” She muttered waiting for his response but got none

“I love our past life; you used to forgive me even if I do not apologize then when we were kids, what’s wrong this time”

“You said it yourself, we were kids then” He stated. She rubbed her temple gently

“Fine….but I still want to be close to you on Zel…hunnn” She kept on talking non-stop. He felt restless, he opened his eyes to stare at her but she was oblivious of this, being that she wasn’t looking at his face. Suddenly to her amazement, he drew her closer, raising her chin to face his, as he slammed his lips on hers. She was taken aback, shock at his turn of mood. She didn’t hesitate but k*ssed him back hungrily, sticking her hands into his soft silky hairs as they enjoyed the rhythm of their lips.

After few sec, he broke the k*ss, but not satisfied, she k*ssed him back as he allowed her to do her magic. She stopped after few more sec, gaining her breath with a genuine smile plastered across her face. Her stomach tingled with butterflies and it felt like a dream to her. This is the first time Axel will be making the first move on her, and she wondered what was so special in her dressing or mood this moment that made him do what he did.

Axel on the other hand only watched her as she smiled in glee; he knew she was happy about the k*ss, but he wasn’t, he did it just to have peace of mind. She shouldn’t be the one he should be k**sing right now.

“Oh…perhaps the black girl” his subconscious teased

“Shut off” he mentally stated, trying to wave away the thought of k**sing Ariel and how it felt like

“That was amazing….thank you Axel” She smiled, pecking him on his lips. He feign a smile to please her

“So…can I have my quiet time now..I really wanna be alone now Sophia….” He pleaded softly, in order not the provoke her

“Oh…sure..I will just take my leave…thank you.” She yelped; giving him a last hug as she took her leave. Axel breathed a sigh of relief as she left.

“But wait a sec…how did she know that I here” He thought, arching his brow

“She has been trialing you idiot..” his mind spoke out. He sighed again, resting his head on the back rest.

“Argghhhhh” Sophia screamed hard as she forcefully opened the door, banging it hard. The Other girlks leap to their feet, jerking off the bed, as they stared weirdly at her. She jumped on the bed, screaming loudly in glee. They are actually in the Triple Girls’ lounge

“What the f*ck is wrong with you” Emma yelled angrily at her, as Nina only watched fuming with rage

“Yaa  yaa..la lalala lalala” She sang joyfully to the girls amazement. What’s wrong with her was the question in their minds.

“Guess what?” She beamed, folding her hands

“Can you get your ass off the bed first, damn you scared us” Nina glared hard at her

“Oh…come on bae, shouldn’t there be a celebration once in a while. Ok, fine, I’m sorry for scaring you both..but I’m damn happy right now” She came down from the bed and sat on it; the girls joined her

“so can you tell her us while you went wild earlier” Emm asked

“I said guess”

“Nope…just tell us or we will leave” Nina chipped in

“Huhnn..you are such a kill joy..whatever…” She smiled, pausing to see their reaction as they wait for her to speak

“Axel k**sed me” She dropped the bombshell

“Ohhh….” Nina rolled her eyes, getting off the bed, while Emma chuckled

“What” She asked, disappointed in their reaction

“Come on Sophia, this isn’t the first time you both are k**sing.” Emma muttered, waving her hand in the air

“Hey girls, you both don’t get my point. I said Axel k**sed me, not the other way round. He made the first move even when I didn’t seduce him” She beamed, as the duo both turned to face

“Seriously…” Nina asked, furrowing her brows

“Yes….I’m so happy, like seriously”

“Hmm… I think he is beginning to like you then, geez, this is amazing news”

“Sure…get the champagne let’s celebrate” She grinned. Emma went to get a wine and three glasses, as they made a toast

“Toast to a new relationship, for the latest couple in the whole of Cape Town” Emma stated, raising her glass, as the drink from it

“And also to my new plan…mission three on the way” Sophia grinned wickedly. Nina frown

“What mission…three is that” She asked

“Wait for it darling”

“Hmmm…just don’t anything you will end up regretting” Emma chipped in

“Trust Sophia Jenkins, I’m the best at what I do” She smirked, taking the red wine to her scarlet lips.
