Not Having A Heart

I was right there, watching him sleep. It was way past the time he would usually wake up. I had already shuffled around the bed to get his attention but nothing was working.

He was alive alright, he was snoring loud too. That was what woke me up in the first place.

Groaning in frustration, I picked up a pillow and hit it on his face. He grunted, collecting the pillow from his face and throwing it to the ground.

"Was that necessary?" Lance grumbled and I smiled like it was an achievement.

"You would not wake up, I think we have training this morning and you are spending so many hours sleeping," I shrugged, rolling my eyes.

"I could kill people for that and yet you chose to do it," he finally sat up from where he laid.

"You want to kill me?" I raised a brow.

"No, not yet," he smiled, grabbing me and placing me on top of his waist. "But I'd like to straddle you."

"Or for me to do so to you," I smirked.

"You could do that," he replied.

I leaned in for a kiss as he wrapped his arm
