Dominic burst into laughter at his wife's question. He had thought Gwen was calm and wise, different from most women. But it turned out he was wrong; Gwen still felt jealous about his ex-girlfriend.
"Why are you laughing?" Gwen asked, puzzled.
"I thought you wouldn't get jealous, but here you are asking about it," Dominic replied, trying to suppress his laughter.
