Deric immediately turned his head when someone knocked on the car door from outside. He put his phone in his pants pocket and opened the window.

"Sir," said a man wearing sunglasses.

"Come in," Deric said, opening the door for the man.

The man in the black shirt immediately took off his hat and glasses as his body landed on the seat, letting out a long breath. As the car began to drive, the man said, "I've gotten accurate information from a trusted party regarding that person."

"I hope you don't disappoint me," Deric said with a straightforward look.

"That person...is indeed involved. We await further orders."

Deric let out a long breath. "I'm sorry if I have to trouble you again in the middle of your busy schedule. But you're the only one I can trust with matters like this."

"I'm very glad you bothered," the man beside Deric said with a faint smile. "I'm honored."
