"I guess being honest doesn't always hurt," Deric said.

"What do you mean?" Caraline scrunched up her waist. Deric seemed to be insinuating.

"Forget it."

Caraline clucked and started to open the door. She walked into the house first. Deric followed close behind.

"We can watch in this room." Caraline led Deric to the family room. There was a large TV and an array of movie-watching equipment. She rarely spent time here. She would go straight to her room when she came home. After all, what family would she bring to this place?

"This is a nice place," Deric said as he surveyed the surroundings.

"I-I'll go change first." Caraline left the room, glancing at Deric to see if he had turned to her or not. She had to be disappointed as the man's attention was still on the viewing room.

Caraline entered the room with an exasperated face. The woman sneered at Deric as she changed her clothes. Her body was wrapped in dark red sleeping pajamas. She deliberately wore clothes that were a bit revealing
