Chapter 386 So Near Yet So Far Apart

Lilian spoke carefully as she did not dare to anger Tyler.

She pursed her lips lightly, looking at him quietly. Her eyes were full of gentleness.

Tyler looked at her indifferently and expressionlessly. "You can go if there's nothing else you have to say."

He did not look at her anymore. Instead, he went through the documents on his table.

Lilian looked at him in a daze with a lost expression.

She could feel that Tyler switched between treating her warmly and treating her coldly. She couldn't help feeling upset.

"I'll wait for you, Tyler. Let's have dinner after this," she said cautiously.

Tyler rejected her at once. "The food in restaurants is heavily seasoned. The ingredients might not be safe for consumption. My mother is eyeing me like a hawk these days. I can't make her upset."

Lilian was stunned. She could tell that this was just an excuse, and it was such a shabby one at that.

Tyler was always bossy in his ways. He never really cared about anyone's feelings.
