Jean knew that as Tyler's son, Dorian had every right to be proud.

Tyler felt moved when he heard Dorian's words.

He noticed that Jean was observing him, so he said indifferently, "Why do you remember what I said? We must've been very close, then."

Dorian immediately nodded. He tugged at Tyler's hand and said, "Besides Mom, you're the one I'm closest to in the whole world."

Tyler raised his eyebrows, upset flashing in his eyes. He looked at Jean, then at Dorian. "Why must you include her? I brought you up. She's only been in the country for a few months."
