Dorothy grew agitated.

Jean stood at the side, looking at her indifferently.

"I did all that I did for the good of the family. That's the truth!"

"It doesn't matter if you don't want to be from a good family, Jean. But Dorian is different. He's the Larsons' eldest grandchild. Do you want someone to be criticized when they bring up Dorian?"

Jean looked at her coldly.

Dorothy continued agitatedly, "Even if you cut off all ties with us, you're still a Michaels.

"You're part of us. For the Larsons, we're already considered part of the upper class. Don't you want your family to look more presentable? Don't you want Dorian to feel proud when someone mentions his maternal grandparents?"

Jean looked at how furious Dorothy looked, mockery flashing through her eyes. "Dorian doesn't need the Michaels family to feel proud.
