Dorothy sounded thoroughly upset. She was obviously angry at the way Jean had treated them recently.

Jean stood quietly where she was, not walking any farther.

Timothy said nothing at all.

Right this moment, it seemed Dorothy had an idea. She said at once, "I'll go look for Dorian."

When Timothy heard that, his expression turned dark as he said, "Why would you go look for a kid? He's still young. He doesn't understand adult matters at all."

Dorothy gnashed her teeth. "Dorian might be a child, but he must have a lot of money on him.

"I heard from Joyce that Dorian has a personal bank account. It's the money that Madam Judy and Coleen have given him. There are eight figures in that account."

Jean's expression darkened at once. Just when she was about to walk in, she heard Timothy roar, "Dorothy Smith, you're just like that useless bastard! You've got your eyes set on even a child's money. If you dare to put away your pride and talk to Dorian, you'll only be embarrassing yourself."
