Chapter 362 Back to Mother

Jean tightened the grip on her phone upon hearing what Coleen said. She couldn't help but suck in a deep breath.

"So … he doesn't remember me?" Jean asked with trembling lips.

Coleen took a deep breath. "The doctors did say that it was a possibility. Jean, if you have any questions, I'll answer them when I return the Henkel, okay? Please don't disturb Tyler while he's recuperating now. I'm worried about his postoperative recovery."

Jean bit her lip tightly, looking very distressed. She agreed reluctantly. "Alright, Mom. I'll wait for you to get back."

Coleen's spirits were low on the other end of the line. She made a noise of assent before hanging up.

Jean stared at her phone with an expression of mixed relief and grief. She was relieved that Tyler was safe but also sad because of his memory loss.

Tyler couldn't remember her at all. Coleen returned to the ward with Tyler's phone and saw that her son was looking out the window with a hint of nervousness in his eyes.
