Chapter 368 No Going Out

Coleen's face darkened slightly. When she saw how disappointed Dorian looked, she felt distressed.

"You haven't even completely recovered yet. The doctor advised you to rest at home," Coleen said sternly. "Who are you going out with that could be so important?"

Coleen sounded incredibly displeased. She cast a disapproving glance at Tyler and continued, "Your wife and child are here. Where else do you need to go?"

Tyler's gaze turned somber as he listened to his mother lecture him. "Mom, I'm not a kid. I know the state of my health very well. As for them …"

He paused for a moment before adding, "They just feel like strangers to me."

Jean felt a surge of sympathy for her dear son when he saw this. She reached out and pulled Dorian close.

"Tyler, it's okay if you consider me nothing but a stranger, but Dorian's your son. How can you say that about him?" she said in a serious tone.
