Chapter 198 Lilian's Appearance

Jean sounded very worried.

Tyler reached out to grab her hand in order to soothe her nerves.

"I'm fine," he coaxed. "The bandages are meant to protect my eyes from bright light."

Jean sighed in relief. "Do you want some water?"

Tyler nodded, but he continued to grip her hand tightly.

Jean pursed her lips in exasperation. "I won't leave your side, so you can let go of me now."

Only then did Tyler release her hand.

After Jean poured him a glass of water and fed him carefully, she said, "The doctor said you need to recuperate. Just rest for now. I'll stay here with you."

It was still the middle of the night. There were a couple of hours left before dawn.

Tyler gripped Jean's hand while suggesting, "You should sleep next to me."

A hint of shyness flickered past Jean's eyes. Her cheeks started to redden as well.

"We're in a hospital right now," she murmured. "I'm not in the mood to mess around with you. Hurry up and rest. I've already rested after going home just now."
