I walked outside the mansion. But, holy sh-! The mansion's ground was too huge. I was lost for minutes. It took me several turns to reach the gate.

Now I think Jericho prefers to wait for the driver to show up around the corner because it would be too tiring to walk around.

Thankfully, I was able to get out without being caught. I wonder how did Celci manage to be working on that mansion.

Enough with those thoughts. It's not like I am worried about the people who are unconcerned about me.

*TING*

I heard a notification pop out of my phone. So, I immediately check on it.

'Honey, how are you? I missed you. I am glad you still have my number on your phone. Please be safe! This is your husband's company address xxxxxx and his plate number xxxxx. Can we call?'

Licking my lips, I typed on my phone. 'Mom, thank you! But, I can't call you right now. I have something else to do. We can talk about it later?'

In an instant, my mother replied. 'You have something to do? I see... I am out with your father in a restaurant. He is making a business deal with this powerful businessman, but I hope you could join us? I miss you, really.'

Chuckling lowly, I inhaled. "I wish too, Mother. I'll call you when I'm free, okay?"

Finally, my mother did not say anything more as I put my phone back on this black purse.

I walked a few steps away from the mansion to look for a passing cab. Luckily, I got stumble on one.

Is it really a cab, though? I hailed the car, and it stopped right in front of me.

Oh damn, this car is very luxurious in its looks and design. So shiny, stylish, and polished in gray. Is this one of the branded cars? Well, I hope not because it's too fancy for me to ride.

Pretending not to be surprised, I clenched my bag and force a smile. I flinched when I saw the plate number.

Oh shit! It's my husband's car! I'm doomed! Does he recognize me?

The window slides downward, and I saw a man who is probably in his forties. He looked at me with a gentle smile as he greeted, "Good evening Miss, why are you standing here all alone? Are you missing? You looked troubled."

Wait, what?! Isn't he working with my husband? How come he didn't recognize me? Is it because I look different when I styled myself?

Hah, now I know I can make demeanor change. Should I celebrate it, but I feel irritated?! Damn, I am so conflicted.

"Miss?" Once again, he called me out.

Flinching, I must have spaced out.

Awkwardly, I giggled. "I am sorry for spacing out. Yeah, I am quite lost myself. Do you know where I can get a cab?"

"You may get in, Miss. I will take you to the main road. So you can grab a car. Anyway, I am down taking my boos to his office." He offered politely.

I must be very lucky today!

I piped out. "Really? Thanks!" So, I welcomed myself in the car.

The driver seems to be very nice to have a bastard-like boss.

He drives me to the main road, and I thank him for leading me here. Kindly, he wished me to have a good night as I bounce it back to him.

I watch him drive the car back to the mansion, hoping that they won't find out about my disappearance.

Thereafter, I hailed a cab to take me to my husband's office.

I want to see it for myself. I want to see him working not jerking off with some random woman.

As I am getting impatient, I tap my heels on the car. The driver gave me a warning glare, and I shot back a stare at him with the same intensity.

He snorts at my arrogance, but I don't care. I can't wait anymore.

Later on, we arrive at a high-rise building. I am quite shocked by this infrastructure. It shows how wealthy the man I married was. But, is his wealth the reason I married him?

Well, it's up to me to find out. When will I remember a single damn thing about me? All I could visualize inside my head was that child staring at me, telling me to wait for him.

I clicked my tongue as I paid for the driver. I instantly get out of the car, and I walk to approach the building.

When I got there, the guard suddenly stared at me with an ambiguous face. Nonetheless, I did not give a single word to him because it will be such a waste of time.

Then, I found the service area inside the building. I looked up and see these glassy, refracting-light chandeliers. It matches the interior of the building since there is a touch of golden colors around the walls and stairs.

I smiled as I go to talk to the Lady on duty.

"Hello, Miss. May I know Mr. Arison's office?"

The Lady looked at me warily as she wear a panicked smile, "I am sorry, Miss, but Mr. Arison is currently holding a meeting with his client. I am sorry to say that he is busy and unable to meet anyone."

I internally swear while my smile fades away. 'Fuck, this man is testing me!'

"You know, I am one of his important business partners. It would be too rude for you to ignore me. I could remove you from your job." I said in a most subtle threatening way. I mean, I fabricated my words. Yes, but it is half-true since I am legally married to that man, so what's his is mine!

Tapping my finger on the counter, I sassily pronounced, "So, what do you say?"

I heard her gulping. This made her look like a child, looking for someone's comfort.

'Yes, that's it! You will lead me to his office.' I told myself in victory.

Finally, she reconsidered my request as she told her co-worker to work on her behalf in the meantime.

"Follow me, Ma'am." Anxiously, she announced.

Nodding, I happily followed her trace three steps behind.

"It's not a bad place." I suddenly blurted out, making the attendant startled.

"My bad," I told her as she nodded.

She led me to Jericho's office, and she bow to me as she is taking leave.

Right before I could open the door, I could feel my legs quivering. I heard something I must not hear.

"Mhmmm~~~ harder honey! Ah, yes!"

"You like that, huh? Your hole is sucking me in like a vacuum."

"Ah~~ Hah!"

My lips dried, and I stood there quietly, listening to their sounds. It seems that I could never drive him crazy like this. I could never satisfy him.

"Ah! Hmmh! Hit it harder, honey! Tell me I am your one and only."

"Ah, yes~~ Mhmm! You are the only one for me, Serena!"

So, her name is Serena? Wow, I can't believe he moaned that name loud and clear. I could feel my eardrums ringing inside. It burns a lot to hear them like this.

Nonetheless, I am amazed how they dare to do it in his office, and how he managed to shove his attendants away from this hallway.

Biting my lips, I said. "Calm down, Erina. Be rational! Don't puke, it's nothing! You deserve better than him. Don't let this get you!"

I did not waste my time listening to their aggressive moaning. However, I don't want to waste this opportunity to get him from behind. So, I pull out my phone and started recording their session. Yeah, keep making noises. Let the world hear you two!

Why am I so stubborn? I guess my stubbornness brought me bad and good?

Then, I realized bottled up so much today, so I turned off the recording and ran away.

All the people turned their heads toward me as I marched out of the building. I could feel my mind fog as my heart bounced back and forth in my chest. All their eyes looked concerned, worried, or maybe, terrified.

I don't care anymore! I wasted my whole damn time playing games with him!

I keep on walking and walking and walking--

---walking!

"Miss!" I heard a young man call me, and it brought me back to my senses.

I saw a car speed up towards me as I saw my life flashes back at me.

'Dreanna!'

As I gasp, I heard the car screeches as it stops, almost inches away from me.

The people gathered around to check on me as I shivered down my spine.

"Miss, are you okay? What's your name?"

"Dreanna," I unconsciously said.

Huh? Why did I say that?

"Honey, is that you?" I turn around and see my mom.

"Mom!" I squeak in relief as I run towards her arms.

Sniffling, I started to break down.

"Honey, what's wrong?" She hushed me down, but I am so wrecked at the moment that I didn't care about myself anymore.

"Is everything alright, Mrs. Dallas?" I heard a very deep voice, asking my mother. I don't know why but the voice is quite charming.

"Yeah, she looked horrified. We must take her home. I am so sorry. May we take our leave?" Petrified, my mom answered. I bet she doesn't know what to say because she's rushing to get me home.

"Of course! I'll call another meeting, Mrs. Dallas. If you may, you can bring your daughter, so she could not wander around carelessly." He sassily sneered behind my back.

Excuse me? What did this man say?

Curiously, I snatch a glimpse of the man conversing with my mom.

Oh, God! How did he manage to catch my eyes on him? He looks into me intensely while he appears to be amused by my presence.

What did I do to him?

He caught me and my mom by surprise as he leaned on my ear to whisper.

"You are Dreanna?"

His voice sends butterflies to my stomach, and I wasn't expecting him to make a move on me. Then, he raffles my hair as he plasters a sweet smile.

"I'll see you again, Dreanna." His whisper-like tone melts my knees as I find myself so weak around him. He takes a moment to examine me, then he walked away.

Unknowingly, I have taken a liking to the name, Dreanna. I giggled absentmindedly. Later on, my mom's voice snapped me back to consciousness.

"Honey, do you know him?" He gets my mom's interest as he is acting so friendly to me.

Quickly, I denied it by shaking my head sideways. Although his presence left a piece of mystery in me, I couldn't help but wonder.

'Who is he?'
