Chapter eight: The unexpected twist

   "I'm bored." Isa said. "I'm bored too." Niall replied. ,"Well, aren't we all bored", Owen said with a hint of annoyance. "Do you think it's possible that Mr North has other kids?"Isa said. "What do you mean?" Niall asked. "I just think it's possible that's your dad has other kids , you know with another woman. Isa said. "That's disgusting. Why would you even imagine that?" Owen asked. "I don't know", She replied. "I know dad was a beast, but do you think it's possible?" Niall asked. "My God" Owen said angrily. " Can you guys just stop it?"

    "Wait", Isa said. " Are you uncomfortable.?" She asked. "Very", Owen replied. " Isa ignored him and continued.

    Haru came in and joined the discussion. "What's shaking guys?" He asked as he sat down beside Niall. "What's shaking?, Are we in the ninetys?" Owen said and scoffed. "If you're curious, Isa said. "Don't", Owen said.  "We're thinking of the possibility that Ryan North has other kids aside the North brothers" Isa said.  "I think it's possible", Haru said . "You too?" Owen asked in utter disbelief. "What?", Haru said. "It is possible."

        Suddenly, the door bell rang. "Are you guys expecting someone?" Isa asked. "No" Niall replied. "What about you Haru?"Isa asked. "He has no friends" Owen replied. The doorbell rang again. "Well, someone better get it", Niall said. "Yes", Isa replied. "Haru, you get it?" " I don't even live here." Haru said as he walked towards the door.

     AT THE DOORSTEP

       "Do you think I should ring it again?" Skylar asked as Haru opened the door. "Nolan?" Haru said as he saw Nolan with a boy and a girl. "Who is it?" Isa yelled."It's Nolan, and some random people" He replied. "Hey" Skylar said. "Nolan?" Isa said as she walked towards the door. "When did Nolan leave?" She stopped when she saw the people in front of her. "That's not Nolan", Isa said. Nolan doesn't have a mole on his nose. "Who are you guys?" Isa inquired.

         "Can we come in?" Cameron asked."Sure", Isa said and they all went to the lounge. "More people, yay", Owen murmured. "See, he looks just like Nolan", Isa said as she sat down.

          "Can we sit?" Cameron said. "By the way, I'm Cameron."  " So?" Owen said without any remorse. "These are my siblings. Juan and Skylar. Weare triplets, just like you guys." "Okay" Owen said as he still didn't understand why they were in their house.  "We're Norths too."North as in naughty?, like Big Naughty?" Haru asked refusing to believe that they're Norths. "No", Cameron said. "Our father is Ryan North."  "It's probably some other Ryan North. Don't worry guys." Niall said. "No" , Skylar said. "Our father is the Ryan North. Your dad is also our dad", She added.  "Is this some kind of a joke?" Isa asked as she was confused. "Where's Nolan, she added?" "Nolan!" Haru hollered. "Nolan!" He hollered again.

    Nolan's Pov

     I was in my room rethinking my decision to return to Icarus Falls when I heard Haru call my name. More like yelled. What does he want this time? I stood up and went downstairs. I saw three people with them .

      "Who are these people?" Nolan asked as he sat down. "They said they're also Norths. Ryan North's children" , Isa said. "Okay", Nolan replied. "Why are you guys here?"He asked. "We have nowhere to go", Skylar replied. "Where were you living before?" He asked. "It's a long story", Skylar replied. "The bottom line is that Ryan North is also our father , we're step-siblings. "Okay" Nolan said. "What?, you believe them?. These shady looking people", Owen said. "We can hear you ", Skylar said. "I don't think I was whispering", Owen said with a serious look on his face. "Niall? , you aren't saying anything. Owen asked. "I don't know what to say." Niall replied. "You see the resemblance." He added.

       "This is too much to take in." Isa said and sighed. " Where are you taking it to?" Owen asked angrily. "You're not even a member of this family." He added. "Owen!" Niall said. "I'm disappointed in you too", Owen replied. "You believe these shitheads. They just want money. " He added. "You think we're here because of money?" Cameron asked. "Isn't that why we're here?" Skylar whispered. "We're not here because of money" Juan said."We're here because we're homeless.  Our useless mother ran away." Juan said.  "Don't talk about mom like that." Skylar said. "Isn't she useless?" Juan asked. "Anyways, we just need some place to stay. It's just a fuckin' favour."

Juan added.

       "You guys can stay, I don't have any problem with it." Nolan said. "Niall?" "They can stay", Niall replied "Isa?", Nolan asked. "The more the merrier ", she replied. "Owen, if you don't want them to stay, then they're not staying."

      "Oh, shut it", Owen said and went upstairs.

    "Is he always like that?" Skylar asked. "You'll get used to it", Isa replied.

       "Where will be staying?" Skylar asked. "There's a lot of rooms in this house." Isa replied. "You guys will be fine as long as you stay away from Owen. He can be dangerous." She added. "Got it", Skylar said.

     OWEN'S ROOM

        "Hey", Haru said as he entered. "You don't know how to knock?"Owen asked with a hint of disappointment. Haru went out, knocked and entered. "Happy now", He asked. "Not really", Owen replied. "It  sucks, I know. You just have to let it go." Haru said. "Don't worry about it." He added. "Are you trying to comfort me?, because if you are, you're doing a terrible job", Owen said nonchalantly. "Why do I even bother?", Haru said and left his room.
