WICKED SEDUCTION CHAPTER 15

Supposedly, I planned to talk with my father about Lee’s position. After everything that transpired between us, I was worried to become so involved with him. When my father refused to let him go, I shifted to plan B. Luckily, he agreed to it, or should I say that he had no choice but to agree to my whims.

“This is so sudden,” Lee complained after he pulled over in front of a medium-sized bungalow house.

From the outside, the house appeared massive. It was constructed with brown bricks, together with white decorative stones. The windows, which were long and rounded, contributed to the overall aesthetic of the house and the fact that they were found in a symmetrical arrangement. The property was outfitted with an ordinary kitchen and one spacious bathroom. It also featured a vast living room, four bedrooms, a modest dining area, and a multimedia room. The building was noticeably shaped like a sphere, and the terrace extended all around the home, encircling it completely. The roof was low and had a slight slope to one side, and it was covered with red roof tiles. A quiet, serene space surrounded the garden in the back of the house with mixed flowers, a pond with a tiny waterfall, and numerous natural rock formations.

“Do you like my place?” I asked him, and he was stunned to discover that I had brought him to one of our properties.

“What are we going to do here, Selena?”

“As of the moment, I am confused about us. I am torn between sending you away or keeping you here with me. So, I bargained with my father to let you live with me…for the meantime.”

“For the meantime? Are you telling me that you will still proceed with the marriage?” Lee asked with a shocked expression.

“Of course,” I replied calmly. “I just realized that I’d rather marry a man that he chose for me than a man who would take advantage of my fortune. Honestly, I am not sure what I am doing right now, Lee.”

“Then what is your plant?”

I shook my head in response because I did not have any idea. Then, I looked into his eyes and asked, “So, how do you like living here as my partner and everything?”

“What are you talking about?” Lee screamed at me, and I cringed in my seat. “Are you going to trap me here?”

“Trap? You are not my prisoner, Lee. If you don’t like my idea, you can go. Anyway, I am just showing you my place because I will be living here in the meantime,” I informed him.

“Just the two of us?”

I narrowed my eyes at Lee because it seemed he wanted to tell me something. “What is it? Do you have something to say?”

“Who will do the cooking and the cleaning?” He finally found the courage to inquire about the household chores.

“You will do it,” I informed him, and his jaw dropped in astonishment. He was funny to look at. His expression was so funny I had a hard time controlling my laughter.

“Are you serious? I am just your bodyguard!” Lee emphasized his job description as if I didn’t know about it. “Hold on, are you doing this to discourage me from loving you?”

I just lifted an eyebrow in response to his inquiry because there’s no way in hell I would admit to it. He struck the right chord, but still, he wouldn’t get any confirmation for his suspicion. “I can tell that you have a wild imagination, Lee.”

“Oh, come on, Selena, being coy doesn’t suit you, do you know that?”

“So what if that was my plan?” In the end, I gave him a hint that he could be right or wrong.

“So you expect me to do the cooking and the cleaning,” he reiterated his future assignment on top of being my bodyguard.

“That is correct,” I told him.

“And what do I get in return? Free sex?”

When he casually mentioned doing it for free, I felt so cheap, and his words were kind of insulting. His words were full of spite, and I was hurt…a little! However, I managed to offer him my sweetest smile. “Yeah, we can still do it until I become pregnant.”

“Fair enough,” he agreed. “So, on my first day, what do you expect me to do? May I have the list of my assignments on a day-to-day basis?”

“There’s no specific list, Lee. You have to be available every time I call you, understand?”

“Whoa! Aren’t you mean right now? Come on, Selena! We shared more than our bodies for you to start treating me this way,” he complained.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

“Come on, Lee. Can you cooperate? I am doing this for both of us. Just trust me on this, and we don’t have to be miserable for the rest of our lives,” I assured him.

“I doubt we will be able to do that now, Selena. Don’t you think it’s too late for that? Just go with the flow and let your fate decide what’s good for you,” he suggested.

“Oh really? I think you have forgotten something about me, Lee.”

“Such as?”

“I am a risk-taker,” I reminded him.

“Then, why can’t you take a risk with me?” He inquired.
