"Any problem, Mr Carson?" Gideon asked.

"No… it just seems absurd that you two are making out when I'm here," Alan replied, chuckling awkwardly.

A frown appeared on Valerie's face as she sought to step in, she guided Gideon's face to meet her eyes and then whispered, "Let's leave,".
