*Two days later*

Valerie sat primly on the chair in front of her vanity mirror, she picked up her brush and started to brush her hair.

She had a list of things to buy for the next pre-wedding event that would take place on one of the luxurious yachts that Gideon owned and so she had to hurry up to meet Maria at her hotel.

"Good morning, sweetheart," Gideon said groggily as he got up from bed and went to kiss Valerie on the forehead, Valerie let out a soft hum of approval and got back to fixing her hair.

Gideon folded his arms across his chest and stood by her side, "What hairstyle are you doing today?"

"Something simple. It's just a tight, low ponytail and I am wearing that yellow sundress you bought for me yesterday," She replied, smiling at that last part.

Gideon frowned cheekily and pinched her cheek, "I thought you said you didn't like the dress,"

"I lied," she answered, chuckling lightly.
