Author's point of view....
The next morning, the entire city roared with strange news going viral on the internet. Every single soul in the city was talking about that strange news. "Something unbelievable happened" "Many girls in the senior class section C were beaten so brutally last night. This immediately caused a scandal as most of those girls were from rich families in the town, and shocked all the teachers and students in the school. As this was a scandalous matter school authorities decided to involve police due to parental pressure and to maintain the reputation of the school. Police officers and parents arrived and crowded the administration office. The girls were in no position to say anything about who had beaten them up." The rest of the students wouldn't calm down either, the hectic environment and noise made it hard for them to focus in class. While the entire Morning Star High school was turning upside down, a girl was sleeping soundly on her desk. With her head lay down on the table without the least care for the chaos around her. All the other students were exchanging gossip. "Did you hear that? Those senior girls were beaten to death." "Yes, yes, I did, I even heard that the doctor said that every bone in their body was either cracked or broken...Oh God they say that it was a miracle those girls were still alive..." "Our school is definitely going to go viral in the entire city...! "Who could beat them up so badly...? Was that a ghost?" One of the girls pointed at the figure sleeping lazily in the corner of the classroom and hushed in a whisper. "Do you think it was Thea who did that?" The others burst into laughter. "Did you lose your mind somewhere? How could that fatty possibly beat someone up, well, yes, she might have jumped on them and crushed them to death...ha ha ha..." Everyone in the classroom started laughing at Thea while Thea, the talk of the town was still sleeping soundly. The girl who started Thea's topic insisted. "Did you guys forget what happened yesterday? Thea threw the food tray at Linda, and that was more than enough of a reason for Linda and her gang to pick up on someone. I heard that someone saw that Linda came to our class to look for Thea after school and to be honest, Thea didn't stay in the dorm last night" All those who heard this exchanged puzzled glances. Could it be possible that it was Thea, that timid, shabby girl who could be easily bullied by even a nursery kid? That can't be true, can it? "Come on...You can't be serious... we all know those senior girls, don't we? They are so scary. How could such a useless timid girl beat six of them..." one of them chimed in. "Yes, Even if Thea stayed in the school last night, I don't believe that she has the guts to do something like that. She's too weak; even primary school kids could bully her," the other supported. "I agree." "Yes, you're right." The subject of the discussion, Thea, slowly raised, her hair was cut awkwardly like a zigzag puzzle. She looked quite comical! All of a sudden, the classroom door was kicked open. Britney walked in and stopped next to Thea, looking angry. She slammed the table with her fist and yelled, "How dare you sleep in the class...! Bitch...!" Thea annoyingly looked up at her. When the other kids saw the scene, they wanted to laugh but didn't dare to. They were all holding back their laughter. Thea, who was woken up, was still very sleepy and only opened one eye to look at Britney. After all, she had just transmigrated to a new host and had to fight on the very first day. That was so tiring. Britney was one of the girls who often picked up on Thea and also the one who poured pickle on Thea yesterday. Thea raised one of her eyebrows as she recognized her. Britney got aggravated even more as Thea ignored her. "Bitch...you dare to look at me that way...?" Looking at the raccoon, slamming her feet and shouting, Maria recalled those stubborn elves from her world and laughed out louder. "What do you want?" Britney gritted her teeth, she was insulted. Normally she had a pretty face, but now, because of her anger, she turned into an ugly raccoon, "Get the hell up and apologize to me, you fatty" Britney snorted. "Apologize...! But why?" Thea asked casually. Is she serious...! Britney couldn't take it anymore. That fat girl used to tremble just by looking at her, but now, she was talking back. The other classmates started giggling at her. It was getting farther...! She had to stop it or no one will ever fear her. The nerve...! "Apologise to me or..." Britney raised her hand and was about to slap Thea when suddenly, Thea swiftly grabbed Britney's slender neck and pressed her onto the table. Thea moved like professional fighter, and everything happened very fast, maybe just in a second or two. Thea emitted an aura of a devil, because of the monstrous soul present in her body. Her eyes became cold. Her tone was firm, "Or what? What will you do if I don't apologize?" The whole class immediately got very quiet and soon rushed out as if they had seen a ghost. "There will be a bad fight here..." "The school is still a mess, it's better not to get involved..." "Is this really Thea?" "Did I see it right? I think I've only seen that type of thing in some action movies on the television...." "My goodness...! That was so scary...!" Britney had never been handled like this before. She was stunned. Thea, who was usually bullied and easily manipulated, actually resisted for the first time? No matter how she struggled, she couldn't get out of that hold. What the hell...! How is that possible...! Britney was so scared that her face turned pale, and her voice trembled, "Thea, leave me...! I will call the police. They are still here..." Thea smiled sinisterly. "So what if the police are still here? Do you have any proof?" Before Britney could say anything more, she felt a strong pain on her scalp. Thea grabbed the bunch of her hair and pulled it brutally. "Does that hurt...??" Britney was dumbfounded. She struggled so much and the more she struggled, the more her scalp hurt. Tears started forming in her eyes. She understood that she couldn't fight back. "Leave me...you fatty..." Britney yelled; she was furious and embarrassed at the same time but still trapped. She was so angry that her entire body was shaking, "Thea, don't go too far. I'm warning you, if you don't let me go, I will make you pay. " Thea couldn't help but laugh, "Oh ...You will?" she was like playing with a little kitten. Thea narrowed her sharp eyes and pulled Britney up from the table. She turned around and pressed the girl against the window, "Do you think you will still be around to make me pay?" She pushed Britney's upper body out the window. This was the sixth floor. If she fell from here, even if she didn't die, she would be crippled for life. Britney was a bully, but her actions had never been so wild; making fun of the kids, taking things away from them, or kicking them slightly was all she and her minions did in the class. She had never seen anyone be this ruthless before. She was so scared that her entire body broke out in a cold sweat. At this point, she no longer cared about her status or dignity and was full-on sobbing. Britney resorted to apologizing, "I...I ...I...was wrong! Please stop...!" Thea pursed her lips, "Just that? You gave up so easily..." A trace of satisfaction flashed across Thea's round face. She quickly pulled her back and threw her to the space in the back row, Britney fell onto the floor, hurting her knees and hands. She cried out in pain. She didn't hold back and started sobbing loudly. "Ugh, you're so loud," Thea muttered in an irritating tone and strode back to her place. The bell rang and Britney stood up. "Get yourself cleaned if you don't want to make a scene..." Thea smacked and sat on her seat. The other kids slowly stepped inside. They thought that Thea would be the one to get beaten again, but this time, they were stunned to see Britney, with swollen eyes, smudged makeup, and scattered hair. Did she get beaten up by Thea? The crowd stepped aside, making way for Britney to pass by. Their eyes shifted from Britney to Thea, who was now lazily picking up her books from her bag. Was it the same Thea, who would cry when she was being bullied? How did she become so powerful? This can't be right! **********Author's point of view... Thea sat on her seat, looking down at her chubby body and sighed. Just using a little strength had caused her to pant. This was so annoying. She was Maria, the princess of the monster land and the strongest monster girl ever born in the entire land. How could she be so weak? In the monster land, no one would dare mess with her because she had exceeded all the levels of martial arts and was the youngest champion so far. But now, she had to endure, living in the body of a host who was only 16 years old, but had a fat body. Thea was 5'3 tall and weighed 72 kgs, quite chubby. This was going to be tough on her. If Maria wants to use her skills and live a better life in this host, she needed to lose weight before she could advance. And to add to it, the skin of this girl, Thea was tanned and her facial features were covered by fat, giving it a round shape like a ball. Maria couldn't help but sigh when she saw herself in the mirror, "She's s
Author's point of view... "It did make some sense, didn't it?" Mr. Yates said with a deep understanding and Dave couldn't help but laugh internally. That girl just now, wasn't she just sixteen or seventeen years old, she easily fooled her teacher and he actually believed her. She was quite brave. "Yes...! I think that too..." Dave replied, amused. Though he didn't believe whatever Thea said, he never doubted a sixteen year old girl could beat up those girls either. Besides, Dave saw those girls from the senior section. They were all grown ups with quite a personality like fighters and Thea was nothing but a chubby girl. How the heck could he even doubt it...! "So, what do you think we should do, officer?" Smacking him out of his chain of thoughts, Mr. Yates asked. "Leave it to us, Mr. Yates, I think some outsiders might be involved in this matter. We are still investigating and soon we will provide you with a good answer" Mr. Yates nodded, gratefully and Dave walked ou
Author's point of view... "Hey..." Dave scoffed, "If that's a joke, you are quite bold at it" Thea returned him the coke she accepted before and started walking away. He hurried behind her. "Mr.Yates believed you because he didn't have anything to reason but do you really think you can just escape from the charges because you were not in the dorm?" Thea paused. So, he was here to investigate. If she leaves now, she will be igniting the fire of suspicion. "What do you mean?" she turned around to see him. He smiled as he stood there with his hands crossed over his chest. "Why don't we continue this while grabbing something to eat? I haven't eaten anything either. I think I saw a restaurant outside your school. Let's go get some chicken tacos for you." Thea was now very annoyed. She exhaled not paying attention to the man "No thanks but can you come to the point directly?" What was his deal? Is this a normal cop behavior? "Get to the point..." he repeated her words
Author's point of view... Looking around, he flung his stick toward Thea with all his might, but she caught it mid-air, jumped down from the fence, and used that same stick to knock him out with one swift strike. "Oh...I didn't see it properly..." Thea said, landing on the ground. Dave's jaw dropped. Isn't she a girl? How did she jump from a wall so high? The gang froze, stunned by her speed and ferocity. Thea, who looked anything but active, moved with a nimble grace, dodging attacks and striking back with precision. It looked as if they weren't fighting but a director had given them all these roles to play along and Thea knew all their moves in advance. Each swing hit its mark, leaving her opponents writhing in pain. She knew exactly where to strike to cause the most agony. "Agh...! I didn't mean it" Every time she moved the stick in her hands, it would beat someone deliberately but she never failed to show her innocence. The thugs were outraged. How could they get
Author's point of view... When Thea returned to the dorm after two hours of late-night study, she found her roommates staring at her as if she’d grown an extra head or something. That was unusual. Because according to the memory of the previous owner of this body, these girls would always bully Thea for no reason. Could it be because of what happened in the class room? Thea thought about it and understood everything. She did threatened Britney and the other girls were like her minions so it's oblivious that they would be terrified with her too. "That's good though..." Thea muttered, pleased for the attention she was receiving right now. As she walked in, Britney, the trouble maker and the most violent one of them, backed away, fear evident in her wide eyes. Thea barely spared them a glance as she strode toward the bathroom, unfazed by their bewildered expressions. She had more pressing matters to tend to than the nervous stares of her roommates. Inside the bathroom, s
Author's point of view... As it was a hot summer day, the classroom was especially stuffy, with only a few large ceiling fans buzzing to stir the heavy summer air. "Gosh...! It's so hot today" Every student was restless, fanning themselves with notebooks and daydreaming of ice-cold drinks because other than being a hot day, it was the day that the marksheet for the previous tests will be given. Amid the heat, where everyone in the class were struggling, Thea sat calmly, her head bowed on the desk. She felt oddly cool compared to everyone else as the place she was from, the monster land, had a very hot climate usually and this place was like a hill station for her. Ren, the class monitor, started distributing the math test papers from yesterday. The students were nervous as their teacher was so strict when it comes to their results. The students who got less than 50 points in maths will be punished. Those who received their papers quickly started comparing answers. Aft
Author's point of view... "What do you think she would do?" one of the students whispered to another. "What else, she will make some stupid excuse for sure..." another chimed in. They shared mocking glances and continued their chatter. But, without giving them a damn, Thea stood up from her seat. Of course, she was lazy but that doesn't mean she wouldn't show her talents to anyone. She had to shut those mouths up. To everyone’s surprise, Thea didn't get bothered by those remarks, instead she got up without hesitation, walking calmly to the podium. Picking up a piece of chalk just like some professional teacher, she began writing two neat rows of calculations on the blackboard, completing the answer effortlessly. Everyone gawked in shock. "What the hell is that??" Her letters floated above their heads. Though she wrote the right calculation, the method she used was the hardest one that anyone had ever used. Finished, she turned to the class with a casual air, rollin
Author's point of view... "Hey Fatty..." A girl, short but with eyes filled with disdain and disrespect, chewing gum, smacked Thea on her head. Thea was so annoyed that she wanted to break that girl's hand, right then and there. She turned around and stared at her. "What did you just call me?" That girl was a senior student, a minion to one of the bullies in the senior section. As Linda and her gang were beaten up and were out of the picture, it was their turn to boost their gang of bullies. These kind of things were common in High schools now a days. Those with some fighting skills and some notorious name in society start up a gang and bully kids, collecting money from them in the name of protection money. Thea clearly despised that kind of behaviour. But at that moment, she was standing in the hallway, right before her class room and she didn't want to mess with this annoying girl. However, as that gile looked at Thea, she felt threatened and no matter what kind of a b
Author's point of view... Thea stood up and strolled towards the nearby stream, seemingly bored but her eyes widened as she looked down on the wet ground nearby."Oh my..." She had noticed something alarming, a set of fresh foot marks of the same beast that she saw earlier, near the water’s edge. Unlike the other one, this print was clear and fresh. It was clear that something was present in those woods and that animal was in the area, possibly even close to their planned route. She slightly bent over to take a better look. "It must be a Leopold or a Panther...! It's huge..." Thea mumbled while studying the print. "What are you looking at, Thea?" Kevin asked, coming over with his plate, still in his hands. She jolted awkwardly and frowned. "Can't you be normal just for once...!" she smacked. Kevin grinned. He couldn't...!! "Are you looking for fish? There's probably no fish in this stream, right?" he said peeking into the stream, oblivious to what Thea was truly o
Author's point of view...! "You are really something." Thea scoffed, "You actually mistook a plastic bag for a giant beast or cat or whatever?? Lily, are you so bored or really that scared, or were you just looking for an excuse to jump into Aaron's arms?" Thea taunted. Lily’s cheeks turned bright red, and she glared at Thea furiously. "What are you implying, Thea?" Thea casually threw that plastic cover aside and brushed her hands. She didn't say anything else but that look on her face gave it all. "Exactly what I said," Thea responded calmly, meeting Lily's angry gaze without flinching. Kevin started giggling. Lily’s embarrassment deepened, and she quickly tried to defend herself. "So what if I thought it was something dangerous? It was dark inside those bushes and I was genuinely frightened. Who wouldn’t be scared of a wild animal?" She threw a glance at Kevin, who was equally rattled earlier. "Didn't you see that. Kevin was scared too," she added with a smirk.
Author's point of view... "Help!" Several cries for help came from the forest, that sounded like women. What the hell...! Who is that? Could it be some animal chasing after the other students? Everyone thought except for Thea, who was busy arguing with Mike. "Did you just say cat? Then why are people shouting out there?" "You'll get to know soon"Mike replied casually. Thea rolled her eyes in irritation. He never gives a reliable explanation. But if that was a wild animal as what she thought, this would be dangerous. Thea stepped forward, ready to attack whatever was coming but Aaron rushed to her and stood right before her as if shielding her from any danger coming their way. "You all stay here, I'll go check it..." Aaron stood ahead and was about to go take a look. "Help..." "Help...!" someone cried again. Kevin immediately grabbed a stick from the ground. "Who's calling for help?" Mark tensed up as well, looking around with wide eyes. "I don't have an
Author's point of view... “Don’t fall too far behind, okay? And if you need help, just call us... We will be slow to keep up with you...” Aaron said while wearing his own backpack. Thea was amused at how much Aaron underestimated her but played along. Is that because she was a girl?? she scoffed internally. “Don’t worry, I’ll keep up.” She didn't want to show off but it didn't mean she wasn't offended. Soon the school buses arrived at the first camping spot after them. Though the same mountain, there were several routes to hike. Aaron had planned a special way to go up, different from the other usual one that the school authorities had planned to take. The group began their hike. Kevin, full of energy, kept darting around and calling out, causing Thea to stifle a frustrated laugh. He had been picking up small pebbles and throwing them at Thea and Mark. He was getting on her nerves. Heaving a sigh, she stopped. She wanted to play with him. “Stop yelling, Kevin!” she
Author's point of view... They drove in silence for sometime and soon Mark, dozed off, his head soon resting on Kevin’s shoulder and on top of him lay the trouble maker's head. Finally...! Thea felt her ears were in peace. When the car was finally peaceful, Aaron turned to Thea. He had been glancing at her sneakily, his hand travelled through his hair. He wanted to talk to her but didn't know what to say. Clearing his throat, he asked, “Have you been camping before?” In his mind he sighed. What kind of idiotic question did he ask...! How could a simple girl like her go camping?? Thea was staring out of the window, looking at how beautiful this world was. She turned around and thought for a while before replying. Aaron was sure about the answer. She wouldn't have been to the places like these. It must be her first time. “Not more often but sometimes, I do,” she said with a hint of nostalgia, her mind roaming back to her memories. Aaron was shocked. Did she?? “I’ve
Author's point of view... "What the hell...!!" Kevin almost jolted from the place where he was standing and started rubbing his eyes. Aaron was annoyed. Kevin was an expert in creating a drama. "Is that really her or my eyes are playing games with me...?" Kevin mumbled in disbelief. Aaron rolled his eyes, he was sitting opposite Kevin and couldn't see what he was gawking at, but the way Kevin behaved, Aaron was sure he was exaggerating about something useless. "Will you stop this," Aaron groaned. "I am not seeing things, am I?" Kevin ignored Aaron's words. Aaron's mouth twitched. "Did you see a ghost, Kevin?" he mocked irritatingly. "No...but it's more unbelievable than seeing a ghost. Look at her..." Kevin replied, pointing at someone behind Aaron, still in shock, but Aaron had no intention on getting into his crab. He sighed, shaking his head. "A girl, right?...Are you serious, Kevin?" Aaron smacked and Kevin immediately added, "Just look at her and I am sure y
Author's point of view... For a long time, Thea hadn’t gone on outings with her classmates, not since an unlucky incident that happened when she was still in junior high. Diana and Nick had worried about their daughter’s social life, not knowing if she was avoiding invitations or simply wasn’t invited. Seeing her go on this trip filled Diana with relief. She almost couldn't contain her excitement. Thea was taken aback by her mom's enthusiasm. She chuckled. "No Mom, it's all set. I won't need anything else. A friend of mine has taken care of all the preparations." "That’s so kind of them!" Diana's ears perked up and she slightly blinked, asking further, "Is it a boy or a girl? What’s your friend’s name?" Diana asked with a playful curiosity that only mothers seem to have. Thea casually walked into her room and removed the towel wrapped on her head and started drying her hair. She replied casually, "It’s a group of us going together. There are many top students in m
Author's point of view... The group of thugs fled as quickly as they could. Logan had never witnessed such ruthlessness, especially coming from a girl. He was ashamed and more than that, he was still in a shock. They had been thugs for so many years and he never once encounterd such a strong person with such tiny body. He felt as though he was facing a war lord not a sixteen year old girl. But wait...! Isn't she the strongest monster in that magical land? Of course, she can easily hit his ass. Thea walked out and slowly stood behind her parents, looking at the trembling man with all bruises on his face. She smiled coldly and Logan felt shivers all over his body. Logan didn't dare look up at her. He rushed away as he still needed to get his injured men to the hospital. Even while walking away, he didn’t dare to look back. His only instinct was to escape from that very place as fast as he could. "He's really odd," Diana said while closing the door behind her. Looking at the
Author's point of view.... "Hand over the money." "What?" Logan, strong in appearance but weak inside, was stunned. He kept glancing at the sky, trying to figure out where she had come from. "The money. You just extorted $15,000. Give it back." Thea’s gaze was cold and piercing. She was far more intimidating than a muscle-bound thug. "Are you trying to rob me? I’m calling the police." Logan tried to regain his composure. He didn't recognize the girl at all. Even though he was afraid, he wasn’t about to hand over his ill-gotten gains, especially not to a girl. He gathered his courage, "You think you can rob me? You are just a girl..." Thea didn’t waste time responding. She landed a punch to Logan’s temple, sending him crashing to the ground, dust flying. "You..." Logan’s men were frozen in shock. A few aimed their knives at Thea while the others raised their fists, but no one moved. They were street thugs, not fighters. Their strength was in scaring people. Faced with som
