"I hit it. I hit it!" Lev shouted happily as he jumped. He ran towards Emman and lifted him as if the latter was the lightest person he had lifted in his whole life.
Despite having a slender body, his height could make up for it. Lev was the tallest on their team and with his height, he can block a ball like a gigantic wall. At any rate, it wasn't good for Emman, who was now overwhelmed by his current position.
"Hey! Put me down!" Emman exclaimed as he forced himself to pull away from Lev. He probably didn't have any strength left, since Lev didn't seem bothered by it."Waaahhhhh!" Lev shouted happily as he circled Emman in the air.Emman just gave up and smiled. He has been practicing with Lev for a few weeks already and there were a lot of times that he wanted to give up. Despite being a good blocker, it was the only skill Lev has. That's why Emman was assigned to be
Darkness and sunlight were scrambling over the sky by the time Allen came out of school. He was about to go home when he heard someone calling his name. “Mr. Allen Sanchez?” Allen put a stop and immediately turned away when a man approached him. The man wore a white shirt and jeans covered by a long brown coat. It looks like he was in his early thirties on Allen’s first impression of him. “Yes?” Allen courteously asked. The man has immediately shown his ID. Allen looked at it and realized he was a detective. “I’m Detective Kevin Tan and I would like to ask you a few questions,” the detective started. “A-About what?” Allen asked with a confused expression. “Let’s go somewhere else first, shall we?” Even before Allen cou
Present…On the bench beside the river overlooking a bridge, there was a man with blonde hair sitting on it. The place was familiar to Karl, as this was the place where Sam died. He didn’t want to visit this place because he didn’t want to remember what happened to Sam. But he didn’t have any choice. He has to meet the man who's at the bottom of everything.
The ball was tossed in the air. The man stared at the ball as it rolled itself in the air. He then stretched his arms to grab the ball that was about to fall on him.“Mr. Andrew Sy.”He grabbed the ball as he heard a woman’s voice outside his room. He slowly sat up from the bed and stared at the door. From there, he could see the woman’s head on the other side through a rectangular glass attached to the door.“You have a visitor,” the woman muttered. He stood up from the bed and walked to the door. The door opened and a woman wearing a police uniform entered the room. He then stretched his arms forward, placing his hands together as if it was a normal thing for him to do.“He’s loyal,” the woman commented as she clutched Andrew’s wrists in the handcuffs.

"I did it to protect you." The man mumbled."I don’t need any protection from you! All I want is Emman! Bring him back!" Andrew pleaded. The young man burst into tears as he looked at Andrew who has a look of grimace all over his face."Emman..."Andrew sobbed in his sleep. His sweats are already trickling from his forehead to the side of his face. His eyebrows were deeply knitted and his mouth slightly ajar in agony.Karl woke up next to him. He leaned forward and gently caressed Andrew on the arm."Andrew?"he uttered with worry evident on his face."Emman..."Andrew murmurs again. He was still in agony and couldn’t wake up from his sleep.
"Guys hurry up alright? Don’t do something funny in there."Sam, the vice-captain of the Silver Valley Volleyball Team, teased as he waved his hand at Andrew and Karl who were still changing their clothes in the club room. He then plastered a whimsical smile at them before finally leaving them alone. The two looked at each other with a silent agreement ofVice-captain is really silly at timesbefore going back on changing their clothes. Sam has grayish feathered hair and has small downturned with a pair of hazel-brown eyes. He has an average height, seven centimeters shorter than Karl, and with a slender build. He has slightly thick eyebrows with a birthmark mole under his left eye. His personality was not as bright as Andrew but being the vice-captain, he has a soothing and gentl
"Andreeeeeeeeeeew!!!!!!!"A man with blonde and spiky hair shouted when he saw Andrew in the distance with Karl, Nelson, and Troy. He immediately ran towards him with his arms wide ready to hug Andrew."Terry-"Andrew’s greeting to his friend was immediately interrupted by Karl. He was stretching his long right arm forward with his palm up-front enough to touch Terry’s chest and stopped him from advancing towards Andrew.Terry is one of Andrew’s teammates from middle school. Aside from his blonde and spiky hair, he has hooded-shaped eyes with a pair of brown eyes. He is a bit shorter than Karl. His personality is childish and extremel
“Is Andrew here already?” Karl asked as he peered at the clubroom door. His teammates were busy changing their clothes for the practice. “Did he not tell you?” Sam responded while tilting his head. He was changing his t-shirt in front of his locker. Karl shook his head, looking bewildered. Did Andrew go somewhere without informing him? A sound of a grating laugh and an arm on his shoulder interrupted his thoughts. “That’s a bad omen right there.” Karl turned his head to glance at the man who’s about to annoy him. “When a person goes somewhere without telling you, that means there’s someone- “his next word was turned to a yelp when a ball smacked on his face. “Instead of blabbering there, Troy, why don’t you change your clothes before I could throw something else on you!” Dale exclaimed, who was also changing his clothes next to Sam

"You’ll be alright. Just pay a visit then leave," Emman assured as he hugged Andrew, who reciprocated the gesture as well.It was Andrew’s mother’s death anniversary. He never once visited all of his mother's death anniversaries, but Emman encouraged him to do so. "She was still your mother no matter what she did," Emman had once told him.The two have been a couple for three years. They already know each other too well. Emman knows everything about what happened to Andrew’s mother and even what his father did. Andrew also admitted that he had once lost his mind and was still taking medications. Andrew told him everything. There was no secret he hid from Emman, and the latter accepted it all. Emman knew how hard it was for Andrew to face his father or even visit his late mom, whom he hated for leaving them. But for Emman, it is better than having no parents at all. And also, he thought, Andrew ca
Maybe Emman was just carried away, or it was because, for the first time, someone had taken an interest in him. That's why he said that to Andrew. Honestly, he still couldn't understand why he blurted that out; he couldn't believe it came out of his mouth. All he knew was that it embarrassed him, though the latter seemed to get a lot of courage because of it.From that day on, Andrew was always waiting for Emman after practice. Allen had also been busy at school, so he couldn’t pick up Andrew. Their teammates are already wondering when and in what way the two became close. Although they know Andrew can be friends with everyone, they couldn’t believe that he can tame even Emman. At any rate, they are not the only ones who still contemplate it because even Emman still ponders to himself why he’s been going with him. When Andrew first waited for him after practice, the latter just told him, "Let’s go". Even though he and Ral
8 years ago…It's been almost four years since Andrew's mother died. He has loathed his father since then. Besides that, he could no longer live inside their large mansion. Every time he passed by the room where his mother committed suicide, he couldn't help but remember her last words. Her mother's voice that had been very comfortable to listen to was now making him trembled in fear. He always had nightmares about it and kept on getting worse day by day. Because of his frightening and horrible nightmares, he can no longer remember the real and gentle appearance of his mother. As if his nightmares weren’t enough to make things more difficult for him, their mansion made it even worse. The very huge, dark, and lifeless house seemed to eat him whole.Because of the trauma he received, their family doctor had checked him several times because he would suddenly
A night sky full of blotted stars could have been so calming and satisfying to the eyes. But for this night, the sky is beige, awful, and weeping. The vengeful clouds blindfolded the stars, throwing its sorrow waters down to the land. And for every drop it falls, tears are being washed away from Andrew’s face as if hindering to console his emotions overflowing with hate and guilt upon himself. The drops of rain slowly wiped the bloodstains on his white shirt out, leaving only a few traces. His breath was unsteady and his legs were trembling from the combination of cold and perhaps from the rush he made out of the warehouse heading to the place where his mind takes him. He was no longer wearing any shoes. His pants were grubby on the knees from the constant stumbling and falling on the ground. At one last turn, he stepped on the grass, falling on his knees in front of a tomb named after the man who died because of his selfish love.
