“If what you need is the assurance, then I will give it to. Once you are done with breakfast, you and I will both find out where the people stand in my relationship with you. “ I said.

It seems Freda is finally ready to give me a yes. I had dreamt and waited patiently for our future together to finally begin. If it is assurance she needs, then I sure will give it to her.

With that, I got up and left Freda’s room. I headed towards my room. I quickly took my bath and threw on some clothes.

The only way to get that assurance for Freda will be to get the blessing of the pack’s elders. According to tradition, they are the fathers and decision makers for the pack. Their decision is almost as impactful as that of a pack’s alpha. The people will stand by their elders’ unanimous decision because they believe the elders represent them in all aspect.

I know it may be impromptu to call on them now, but this was very important to me and I cannot waste any second waiting.
