Zack’s POV

I got home after my encounter with the mysterious physician who gave me medicine contained in a flask bottle.

He had assured me that it will be the answer to our unresolved problem. He gave me a directive on how to use it.

I had high hopes that this would be effective so that we can go back to our normal lives in the pack. Annie can finally be happy too. She has suffered and endured a lot.

I got back to the apartment I rented for both of us to live in temporary while in this country. I got a space in a serene environment. Annie needed the quiet and less interactions with people. I stocked up the house with everything I thought she needed to be comfortable. I registered her for yoga session so she can keep busy whenever I leave the house.

I opened the door to the apartment and spotted my wife, Annie in the kitchen. She was at the sink rinsing some veggies. There was a chopping board and knife close by. I guessed she was about to make a salad.
