Michael closed his eyes and tried to bear the heat and pain that spread across his face. He was pretty sure that the area where his father had hit him directly had left a reddish mark. Michael even thought he could feel the corners of his lips were cut by the blow.

"You idiot!" Tomy Andreas was livid. The tall, well-built man was taken aback by the unexpected news. "What were you doing on the show if you were caught off guard by Helena?"
