ICIEST’S POV:

He nodded his head at me before tilting his head cutely as he asked, "Is it important, dad?"

I smiled at him faintly before I nodded my head with a sigh as I answered, "This is about your mom, so I’ll go now so that I can come back immediately."

They both nodded, so I kissed History’s head and held his hand to walk closer to where Chronicles was seated before letting him seat in his previous spot and bending down slightly to kiss Chronicles’ forehead as well.

After that, I immediately excused myself and went to my room since both of them had their own rooms since they were kids. I opened the door of my room and went inside before placing my bag and my coat above my bed.

I walked towards the bathroom and washed up before doing my nighttime routine. After that, I went out while wearing my bathrobe and went inside my walk-in closet. I choose to wear my black pajamas before I leave my room.

As I walk downstairs, I am already thinking of some ways to convince my children to l
